By speaking positively you will experience your life positively
The way you speak affects the way
you experience life.
By speaking positively, you will experience your life positively.
Many people spend the day repeating:
“Everything is stressful.”
“Nothing ever works out.”
“I can’t handle this anymore.”
After a while their minds begin believing these words.
Torah teaches you that speech is not merely communication.
Speech has Power.
Words do not simply describe your world.
They shape your world.
A person who constantly speaks negatively slowly trains himself to notice only frustration, pressure and disappointment.
But a person who trains himself to speak positively with gratitude and hope sees life differently.
Of course, life has difficulties.
There are challenges.
We all struggle.
But Torah teaches you
which thoughts to focus on.
You should train yourself to notice:
the good,
the progress,
the blessings,
the opportunities,
and the constant kindness
Hashem gives you every day.
Even small changes in speech
transform your emotional life.
Instead of you saying:
“Everything is terrible,”
say:
“This is difficult, but Hashem will help me through it.”
Instead of you saying:
“Nothing ever goes right,”
say:
“There is still good in my life.”
King David said:
“Guard your tongue from evil.”
Psalms (34: 13).
This is often understood as avoiding loshon hora (gossip or hurtful words).
But it also reminds you to
protect yourself from
destructive speech patterns that
fill your mind with darkness and despair.
The way you speak becomes the way you see the world.
A calmer and happier life begins by changing the words
you repeat to yourself every day!
