Calling out the Chicago Sun-Times and USA Today Newspapers

I live in Israel. I am an Israeli citizen and very, very proud of that fact. However, until we made Aliya, I lived in Chicago, nearly fifty years. I have a close kinship with the city and its residents and my former community.

As such, I took it as a personal insult and a Jewish insult to be shown an article that appears in the local Chicago newspaper. The Chicago Sun-Times has an insert of the USA Today newspaper in today’s issue. The front page of that issue has a picture of slingshots and is titled “West Bank Bands Together…From making food to slingshots, Palestinians do what they can to fight Israel.”

The article goes on to speak about the tremendous “achdut” (unity) among the Arabs as they fight the “occupation.” It is written as a human interest story. It includes the story of one person who used to throw stones at cars, etc but now has turned to the healing profession. His work is more meaningful, he says, when he treats those who have been injured by Israeli security personnel rather than throwing stones.

This article is nothing more than the glorification of the MURDER OF JEWS! They make it out to be such a beautiful thing how the Arabs are all working together. And towards what goal are they working: THE MASS MURDER OF JEWS!

Has the Sun Times and the USA Today been taken over by Der Stürmer?

FOR SHAME ON THE CHICAGO SUN-TIMES AND FOR SHAME ON USA TODAY.

I am not big on boycotts and the like. However, barring a FRONT PAGE apology in the Sun-Times  for running a story that glorifies murdering Jews, I call on everyone to cancel their subscription to the Chicago Sun-Times!

People ask what they can do to support Israel: this is one great way to do it. STAND UP FOR YOURSELF AND TELL THEM IN THE POCKETBOOK THAT GLORIFICATION OF THE MURDER OF JEWS WILL NEVER EVER BE TOLERATED AGAIN!
