Canada’s Jews: ‘Too White’ for Any Liberal Sympathy
For decades, the Canadian state has exemplified the modern race to confront all discrimination and extinguish every bigoted ‘-ism’ worldwide.
For instance, interracial and LGBTQ+ relationships are commonplace in Canada, and a diverse array of religious ideologies have become widely accepted. In addition, various minorities are now protected by stringent legislation and a plethora of hawkish Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) organizations.
However, despite the fact that countless minorities are now safe and at-home in Canada, antisemitism has somehow escaped the Liberal government’s ire and every one of its earnest attempts to confront hatred, protect minority rights, and embrace diversity over the course of the past decade.
In fact, it is clear that Jews are simply ‘too white’ to warrant any sympathy or at all ‘legitimately’ suffer in Liberal Canada.
Due to the modern advent of identity politics, every Canadian has been transformed into little more than a convergence of social circumstance and ‘diversity’ has been rendered utterly synonymous with The Good.
Furthermore, the legitimacy of any person or people’s social plight and perspective has become utterly contingent upon their ability to immediately display the requisite ‘diversity criteria’ and intersectional location upon the so-called ‘spectrum of identity’.
In fact, it has become effectively inconceivable that any person or community might at all suffer or become marginalized and oppressed, without explicitly exhibiting any of the necessary ‘diversity criteria’.
Unfortunately, throughout the modern era, the Jewish people have been consistently misconstrued and misunderstood as a rich, white, homogenous mass, whereas the left-wing news media edifices and political actors that dominate political discourse in Canada have constantly associated the Palestinian people with Diversity and an anti-colonial, ‘progressive’, struggle.
As a result, Canada’s Liberal politicians have used the Jewish community’s ‘whiteness’ as the impetus to deny the plight of the Jewish people and disregard the outbreak of antisemitic violence and terrorism that the Jewish community has been forced to endure over the course of the past decade.
Moreover, due to the fact that DEI’s modern apostles have firmly ensconced anyone who is rich, white, or male as a source of socio-political malaise and a locus of oppression, the Jewish community’s ‘whiteness’ has also been shamelessly leveraged by various Liberal politicians, in order to locate the Jewish people and the nation of Israel as the oppressor of the Palestinian people and the de facto origin of the Israel-Palestine Conflict.
In contrast, the non-white skin color and culture of the Palestinian people has subtly been invoked, in order to re-frame the savagery that pours out of Palestine as the struggle for “self-determination” and ‘explain away’ the decades of wanton rape, murder, and terrorism that the Jewish people have been forced to endure.
Worse still, due to the fact that The Left has baselessly rendered every Jew synonymous with the state of Israel and its ‘colonial’ politics, DEI’s ‘progressive’ dogma has sanctioned the open abuse of innocent Jewish people everywhere.
For example, one of the Liberal Party’s most vitriolic MPs, Jenica Atwin, previously proclaimed “There are no two sides to this conflict, only human rights abuses! #EndApartheid,” and former Liberal MP, Bill Casey, recently declared that it is not at all antisemitic or “uncommon for Jews around the world now to be shown scorn and disrespect…in the hope that the message will reach the Netanyahu government that what the Israel government is doing in Gaza is unacceptable.”
Furthermore, Canada’s former Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, falsely claimed that the state of Israel has indulged in “the killing of women and children, of babies” and, in 2024, the Liberal government ratified a discriminatory motion in Canada’s House of Commons that baselessly implicated the Jewish nation in the genocide of the Palestinian people and the “continuous suffering of all Palestinian civilians.”
Even the Carney regime has quietly appealed to the racial dynamics of the Israel-Palestine Conflict and the false, ultra-white, veneer that has been imposed upon the Jewish community, in order to re-cast Palestinian terrorism as revolutionary struggle and reward the terrorist authors of October 7th with a Palestinian state. In fact, Carney himself has repeatedly opted to ignore Hamas’ terrorism of Jews and Palestinians alike, in an effort to more fulsomely condemn the state of Israel for the sum total of all “human suffering in Gaza.”
Unfortunately, it is evident that the Liberal government has seized upon the modern advent of identity politics as an opportunity to disregard the plight of the Jewish nation and ignore the outbreak of antisemitism in Canada over the course of the past decade.
In fact, it is clear that Jews are simply ‘too white’ to warrant any sympathy or at all ‘legitimately’ suffer in Liberal Canada.
More importantly, it is readily apparent that the Liberal embrace of identity politics has ushered forth a new era of ‘diversity-based discrimination’ in Canada and every species of hate-crime can now be justified under the guise of a non-white skin-tone.
