Canaries, Coalmines, and Canada’s National Collapse
Since the most recent outbreak of the Israel-Palestine Conflict on October 7th 2023, countless pro-Israeli businesses and centres of Jewish life, such as community centres and schools, have been terrorized by gunshots, arson, and bomb threats, as well as every other species of anti-Jewish hate.
Most recently, two Jewish-owned bagel shops in Toronto were forced to endure a spate of “gunfire and vandalism,” and then again, days later, “several shots were fired” into the headquarters of INKAS Armoured Vehicle Manufacturing Headquarters in North York.
However, despite the fact that Jew-hatred has absolutely become mainstream and the Global Intifada now defiles even The North, it is evident that antisemitism is not The Problem in Canada.
Rather, it is clear that the torrent of antisemitism and Jew-hatred that has steadily inundated Canadian society since October 7th is merely one grotesque symptom of Canada’s ongoing national collapse and current degenerate state.
For over a decade, the Liberal government has permitted the most fundamental aspects of the Canadian nation to erode into disrepair and languish in the contortions of explicit failure.
For example, personal security and public safety have eroded into collective figments of Canada’s national narrative and the Violent Crime Severity Index (VCSI) now constantly flirts with new all-time highs. Furthermore, the Liberal government has outsourced Canada’s economy and ignored Canadian industry, in order to allow Canada to better embody Trudeau’s post-national identity and more fulsomely embrace an unregulated influx of international migration and labour.
In addition, public discourse and democracy in Canada have been rent asunder by the Canadian state’s past decade of Liberal government. In fact, The Democracy Project itself recently declared that Canadian society has become violently polarized and that “political disagreements [in Canada] are spilling over into real interpersonal conflict,” as a consequence of the casual extremism and political polarization that currently plague the Canadian state.
Moreover, due to the fact that the Liberal government has imploded the very bedrock of Canadian society, various once stolid features of Canada’s national identity have summarily fractured.
For decades, Canada was renowned for the incredible ‘life chances’ that were the birthright of every Canadian and the remarkable quality of life that all of Canada freely enjoyed. However, since the advent of the Liberal government in 2015, Canada’s standard of living has declined precipitously, and huge swathes of Canadian society have been consumed by abject poverty and hopelessness, due to the fact that they are now overwhelmingly unable to afford even basic life staples, such as food and shelter.
Furthermore, Canada was once heralded as a profound merchant of violence, as well as an unparalleled peacekeeper, and the brave champion of oppressed peoples everywhere. Sadly, throughout the Liberal era, Canada has lost any real peacekeeping capability and the Canadian state is now entirely unable to meaningfully protect its own citizens and support its allies, nevermind protect any beleaguered or oppressed peoples throughout the international political system.
And, perhaps most importantly, the Canadian state has long been lauded as a paradigm of democracy, compassion, and the liberal ideal in action. However, due to the Liberal decade’s constant barrage of fascist policies and corrupt government, democracy in Canada has degenerated precipitously and Canada’s once vibrant, multicultural, society has now become violently polarized, as well as utterly discompassionate.
Worse still, the Canada that shelters diverse thought and offers itself up as safehaven to every broken and beleaguered people, even the Jews, has summarily shattered into a cascade of Hobbesian insecurity and feverish self-interest. In fact, Canada now actually displays the quintessential hallmarks of a failing or failed state, due to the fact that it has been forced to endure a decade of corrupt Liberal politics and inadequate government.
Unfortunately, although antisemitism is an ancient and unparalleled disease, it is evident that the pandemic of Jew-hatred that now threatens to irreversibly disfigure Canadian society is actually one of the Carney era’s most lurid sideshows.
In fact, it is clear that the torrent of antisemitism and Jew-hatred that has steadily inundated Canadian society since October 7th is merely one grotesque symptom of Canada’s ongoing national collapse and current degenerate state.
More importantly, despite the fact that Jew-hatred has unequivocally become one of the darkest features of the Liberal coalmine, it is readily apparent that any earnest attempt to eradicate antisemitism in Canada must be predicated upon an all-out effort to arrest the decline and collapse of the Canadian nation itself, or else it is doomed to fail.
