China’s Xi Should Not Be Rewarded
China’s government is one of the cruelest in the world to their own people. The Chinese have suffered crackdowns by the government ever since Xi was given absolute power. He holds the same title that Mao once held, and the world has been mostly silent on the abuses he has brought.
Their reeducation camps use slave labor to help support their economy. Men, women, children and the elderly all suffer in these camps and not one organization is allowed to inspect, including the Red Crescent. Little rice is given as a means to sustain themselves as they are slowly worked to death, when they are not randomly executed.
China’s factories use child labor and pay almost nothing. There is no option to refuse to work in factories in China. The CCP determines how many are needed to work and all that matters are the numbers being filled. The Chinese suffering in those factories means nothing to the CCP, since they view people as nothing more than animals to be controlled and slaughtered as needed.
China is one of the biggest human rights abusers in the world. The people who live under the brutality of Xi suffer greatly as he returns China to the days of Mao. Chinese live in fear of their government and the world is far too silent of the suffering they receive at the hands of a brutal tyrant and those who blindly follow whatever orders they are given.
China’s 2 child policy holds the same horrors as the 1 child policy did. Girls and women are forced to have abortions and sterilized. For those who do not go willingly, they are abducted and taken from their families. The world turns a blind eye to the horrors women and girls face every day.
China has no bio-hazard waste facilities. The dead are left to rot with the trash in their version of landfills. Xi and his CCP do not care about the potential for disease, since they do not care about human suffering.
The markets that have started to make headlines are not unique to Wuhan. They are found in every city in China. Living animals are slaughtered on the spot for the customers and the remains left in the street. At night, water is used to wash the waste away, but nothing else is done at all. There are no treatment plants for animal waste from the markets.
These are just some of things known about China under the rule of the CCP. Christians are tortured and executed. Dissent is met with disappearances. We have no way to know just how many dissenters have been tortured and executed.
The CCP ensures China props up North Korea. Without China’s trade and direct support, the North Korean government would have collapsed years ago. That suffering is partly on China and should not be tolerated by anyone.
It is time to stop turning a blind eye to the CCP. No free nation should trade with China under any circumstances. As long as nations continue to allow Chinese goods into their countries, the CCP will not stop.
COVID-19 has cost the world trillions and there is no quick fix to restore the global market. The free world cannot continue to treat China as any other nation. There must be an economic cost to their actions.
Every good purchased from China props up a regime who cares nothing for human rights. They use the resources received from the free world to spread misery to their people. How can the world go back to the way things were?
The free world never should have turned a blind eye to the atrocities committed by the CCP. Brutality should have been met with harsh sanctions. Suffering has been a part of the Chinese government for far too long.
Xi and the CCP should not be rewarded with trade deals. Without sanctions against the Chinese government, that is exactly what will happen. Goods will continue to ship to countries and Xi will continue to use those resources to terrorize his people.
The Chinese government must not find access to a single market in the free world. Strong sanctions are needed to sever them from the resources needed. Any other course of action will result in the continuation of human suffering and the strengthening of Xi’s hold over the Chinese people.
