Civil war now: Judeo-Christian America is fighting back

Are we in the state of civil war now?

Yes, we are, and here is why. A nation is in the state of civil war when major segments of the nation are not able to find a common ground for governing the nation. And that is the situation we are in nowadays: the Congress cannot find anything in common for all competing parties to legislate and essentially paralyzed; the President is forced to govern without the congressional consent; the Supreme Court decides based not on the clearly written laws but mostly on the ideological grounds.

Who are fighting each other?

Yes, we are in the state of civil war and we are fighting each other. Of course, we were fighting each other from the very beginning but nowadays the fight is principally different.

In the past, we were fighting for the best way to strengthen our common moral foundation.

We had different ideas on how to do it, but we knew we had the common moral foundation, which was the Torah/Bible-guided individual freedoms and responsibilities, with the non-intrusive government, which was securing our freedoms.

Nowadays, the fighting is between the forces fighting to preserve the founding moral foundation and the forces fighting to replace it by the government-imposed non-Torah/Bible-guided morality. The government command replaces the individual freedoms and responsibilities by the newly invented morality of human rights, social equality, diversity, anti-white supremacy … you name it – by denigration the Torah/Bible morality that has all that.

We do not have One America anymore. We have two Americas. One of them is the traditional Judeo-Christian America which is fighting for preservation of its founding Judeo-Christian moral values of individual freedoms and responsibilities. The other one is the non-traditional anti-Judeo-Christian America fighting for the freedom of the government to do whatever the Government decides (and the prime goal of the government is the preservation of its power).

What happened – why we have two Americas?

Two major developments of the recent past split us into two rival Americas and brought us to the state of civil war.

One of them was an uncontrolled growth of the government that transformed the government from a servant of the people to a ruler of the people with the government own rules aimed at preserving its power.

The second one was an uncontrolled growth of the immigration that brought to the nation many new citizens with the fear of individual freedoms and responsibilities, and the adherence to all-powerful government.

How the two Americas are seen by the public?

The Judeo-Christian America is seen by the public mostly through the actions and speeches of the leaders of conservative organizations, of Republican Party, and of President Trump, while the non-Judeo-Christian America is seen through the actions and speeches of the leaders of liberal organizations, of Democratic Party and its ideologues in the Congress.

The Judeo-Christian America is seen as preserving the free-market economy with minimally needed government regulations where most of the assistance to all who are in need is provided through the charity/mitzvah actions. In the Judeo-Christian America, the happiness is being reached through the individual creative labors – in the image and likeness of God the Creator. The non-Judeo-Christian America is seen as replacing the free-market economy by the government-managed economy (various options of the socialism) where the happiness is provided by the “government care.”

Where are the Jews in this civil war?

The Jews are split. Those with the strong spiritual Torah-guided morality (they are mostly among the orthodox and secular Jews), they are with the Judeo-Christian America. Those who are strongly associated themselves with the liberal ideas (like those Jews who supported the Bolshevik’s civil war in Russia) they are with the non-Judeo-Christian America.  

What is the weaponry used in this civil war?

Two major kinds of the weaponry are used in this civil war – the power of the press and the power of the government.

The modern press is not the presenter of the real facts anymore as was in the historic past. It is a business enterprise which is selling their products to their customers. And if a customer is looking for the information to be damaging to its competitor, this information is “found” and delivered.

The power of the government nowadays is used for harming the political rivals through the multitude of fictitious investigations and court actions.  

What to do?

To win! In this civil war, Intellectual Judaism (Vladimir Minkov) is on the side of the Jude-Christian America and is working for the victory of this America. The victory should be achieved by convincing most of the nation that the Judeo-Christian Torah/Bible-guided moral vision for the entire nation may bring the true happiness while the opposite moral vision is bringing the endless complains and unhappiness.
