Clarence Thomas is dead meat

Dutch saying: No matter how fast the lie, the truth will catch up with it

By nature, all extra smart right-wingers are liars and thieves. They pretend to stand for lofty principles to improve the State while they’re only in it to enrich themselves and other elites. I explicitly exclude the average right-wingers, for they often seem misled themselves by their leaders.

So, it should come as no surprise that the most right-wing member of the US Supreme Court secretly has been violating the law to enrich himself.

The Israeli High Court shows that who believes in equality is left-wing.

First, it was reported that a right-wing billionaire was feasting Thomas and his wife on frequent expensive overseas vacations. It now is reported this ‘charity’ only started a couple of years after Thomas entered the USSC.

He never reported these clear gifts, since he should have as all US judges, but somehow, it is a gray area if they had to. Unusual for a USSC Judge, he immediately declared he will report these kinds of gifts from now on since last month, the gift reporting rules were tightened. So far, so good.

But that only refers to joint vacations. Private jet flights must be reported.

But then the Judge dug his own proverbial grave writing the billionaire “did not have business before the Court.” He implied these can’t be bribes as they’re just friends, and any cases by him won’t come before the USSC.

This is where he went wrong already. Although he didn’t seem to need anyone to fortify his right-wing stance on everything, the money this billionaire spent on him did that anyway. But it got worse.

Turns out, Thomas did have financial interactions with the billionaire. Even worse, in ways that indisputably he should have reported, and he didn’t.

Still worse, this billionaire ‘sits on the boards of major pro-business think tanks that advance specific conservative legal theories and occasionally files amicus briefs with the SC!’ This contradicts Thomas’s statement.

Thomas has filed judicial opinions that disclosures should not be required because Internet openness could mean people would come after you!

Let’s hope he’s smarter than Trump and immediately resigns instead of waiting for impeachment. He will survive such a prosecution because of the Republican majority in the House but his ‘good name’ will not.

The good name of the USSC overall was damaged already ever since the political appointment of “I like beer, so what?” Kavanaugh.

The shamelessness of the GOP also is widely reported, though the current trials against Trump and Fox News will add much detail to their disgrace.

In any case, progressives can get no greater present than the right even embarrassing itself more and more. The left’s victory in 2024 is safe.
