The clouds make us think
of the sun
covered

Shining trying to get through

Ultimately it will

I saw a cloudy sky today — no rain, just clouds. It reminded me of how sometimes October 7 happens and things are dark and cloudy; it reminded me of how sometimes 2000 years of exile happens.

But there’s a sun shining beneath it, there’s a light to the nations that, even in the darkness of exile, even in the darkness of tragedy, that light shines. It may be covered by a cloud, but it shines. And soon the clouds will dissipate and the whole world will be bright again.

The Jewish people have never stopped shining, they keep on through clouds and darkness and exile and tragedy. They keep on because ultimately it’s what the Almighty wants, ultimately it will benefit the world, ultimately the Jewish people will shine brightly again for all the world to see.
