Danger: USA is losing its nation

A nation-state is a form of political organization under which a relatively homogeneous people inhabits a sovereign state — a state containing one as opposed to several nationalities. From the very beginning we in the USA maintained such a nation-state which was uniting all its citizens in pursuing their own individual dreams.

Unfortunately, it is changing — we are becoming a disunited multi-national state, and therefore we are in danger.

A multi-national state is in danger because each nationality inside this state has its own unique morality, and the people with different moralities are fighting each other as the history demonstrates. Why? That is so because the moralities define what is Good and should be protected, and what is Bad and should be suppressed. The moralities are at the core a human character – different moralities might be incompatible that brings the clash of moralities leading to national disunity and civil wars.

Our founding morality is of Judeo-Christian nature. The other moralities may be incompatible with our Judeo-Christian morality:
• We value the individual freedoms and responsibilities while they may value the collective freedoms and government responsibilities
• We value the equality of opportunities while they may value the equality of results
• We value the limited government which is not legislating the morality while they may prefer the government moral leadership
• We value the source of our morality — the Almighty Power above us called God — with its moral guidance codified in the Torah/Bible while they may have other sources frequently incomparable with ours.

Different moralities bring different governments. A state might be truly democratic if it houses only one homogeneous group of people with one basic set of morals – a multi-national state requires an authoritative, dictatorial government able to use force in dealing with all internal discontent.

The Law and the Democracy cannot blend several nationalities/moralities into one nation with one set of moral principles because a nation with one common morality for everybody is made not by the Law and the Democracy but in the course of countless wars, business dealings, intermarriages, worships, cultural exchanges.

The purpose of the Law and the Democracy is to strengthen the morality of a nation – not to change it. However, our nation, the nation of the United States of America, is trying to change it these days.

Our nation was created by a spiritually homogeneous group of people who had the Judeo-Christian individual-freedom-based morality (there are many Judeo-Christian-morality varieties in Christianity and Judaism).

We had managed properly the indigenous Indian people by preserving their tribal spiritual independence in their own land thus preserving our own spiritual homogeneity.

The next challenge we failed to properly address. That was the challenge of the Black people from Africa – with their own unique morality who were brought here as slaves. After the slavery was abolished and they became free, they had to be given two options – either to become equal members of the nation of Judeo-Christian individual-freedom-based morality with no special treatment, or to be relocated back to their native-morality Africa with an appropriate financial help. However, a different decision was made – to legislate the acceptance of a sort of foreign morality by the Judeo-Christian-individual-freedom-based-morality nation – nowadays it is called multiculturalism, universal human rights, social justice, … you name it.

One more challenge we managed successfully with the Irish, Jewish and some other waves of immigrants who were mostly of the same Judeo-Christian individual-freedom-based morality – no legislative morality adjustments were needed.

The wave of Muslim immigration was not managed successfully – most of the Muslim individuals might be good people but their Islamic organizations propagated the non-Judeo-Christian morality in our midst that created one more source of social discontent.

This statement is mistaken – Muslim congresswomen Ilhan Omar is not ignorant or bigot. She has her own Islamic-guided understanding of what is Good and should be supported, and what is Bad and should be eliminated, and she is trying to inject the elements of her non-Judeo-Christian morality into the life of our Judeo-Christian nation through the power of her position.

What finally may be killing us nowadays is the welfare system we have created that provides nice wellbeing (housing, food, healthcare, education …) for families and individuals as a gift from the government – not as a result of own efforts. That has attracted a new wave of immigrants with not our Judeo-Christian morality who have elected some members of Congress with not our Judeo-Christian morality that makes our government almost incapable to govern that makes our democracy incapable to function.

Yes, we cherish the freedom of speech – it is at the foundation of our Judeo-Christian morality. However, the freedom of speech was created to strengthen our national morality – not to weaken or destroy it.

What to do?

It is worthwhile to discuss the legislative actions aimed at preserving our national morality by outlawing the defamation of our flag, hymn, historic monuments and of course our Judeo-Christian morality, and aimed at accepting the immigrants only with our Judeo-Christian morality (all other suffering people may be helped outside of our own territories).

No doubt many would not like it. However, we must remember: multi-morality/multi-culture nation requires an authoritative, dictatorial system of government to prevent civil wars – if we want a true democracy, we must have one-morality/one-culture homogeneous nation.

The USA is not alone – European Union suffers from similar destructive multi-national/multi-cultural social and political developments. However, the State of Israel does not – the Jews have learned from their own history that the preservation of their own Judaism-based morality in their own country and in their own communities is a must for spiritual survival and national happiness.
