Darkness to light
What happens when you destroy Hamas? You defend Israel. You turn the darkness of evil into saving lives, including saving Arab lives. Because when Hamas is gone, when terrorists are gone, then peace for everyone can shine.
Darkness. It seems like a terrible thing. But it is just a cover, just a catalyst for transformation and for bringing holiness into a void. And the world shines.
It takes just a little bit of light to push away a lot of darkness. A kind word. A smile. A coin to a poor person. Because the darkness is there for a purpose, waiting for us to bring light. And when we do, then even a little bit of light will transform and change much darkness into light.
The world is a place of hiding. The Hebrew word for world is oilom, which is related to the word helam — hidden. When we remove the cover, when we reveal what had been hidden, when we show that the world is intrinsically good, created by G-d, and intrinsically holy, when we reveal it, then the darkness dissipates. Because its sole purpose, was to enable us to push it away. And when we do, then the G-dlinless that was always there, shines.
Blow away the darkness with light. Shine away the sadness with joy. Elevate the lowness with goodness, so that the world becomes elevated, and the beauty and holiness becomes revealed.
We are almost there. Redemption is close. The final touches are waiting to happen. Just one more mitzvah, one more good deed, one more effort of caring and helping, one more strengthening of our connection to the One above. And suddenly, it’s a new and exciting and wondrous world, where G-d and humanity and the entire world becomes infused with holiness.
Where everyone sees their purpose, and everyone is happy.
And peace comes to the entire world forever.
