Deval Patrick: Gone But Should Not Forgotten

Former Massachusetts Governor and candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination Deval Patrick has just dropped out of the race after a poor showing in yesterday’s New Hampshire primary. https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/12/politics/deval-patrick-ends-campaign/index.html

King Solomon wisely asserted, “[T]he race is not to the swift” (Ecclesiastes 10:11 ) .

Keep an eye out for Patrick as a possible Vice Presidential nominee or, should the Democrats regain the White House, a future Cabinet Secretary.  Quality public servants are few; effective executives who are devoted to the public good are rare. Hopefully, he will remain engaged in politics.
