Don’t be afraid of New York’s Mayor
First of all, my initial reaction is, that it seems to make sense to say: Stop panicking.
As much as many say that anti-Israel equals antisemitism — it doesn’t.
Leaders of Canada and the UK and France and Australia condemned Israel for continuing to fight Hamas, and they recognized a Palestinian state. Carney said he would arrest Netanyahu. Yet when it came to antisemitism, they clamped down against it.
So just because someone is anti-Israel, that doesn’t automatically mean that they are antisemitic.
Second of all, Trump indicated that he would oppose any untoward behaviour on the part of the new Mayor.
Third, and most important, we trust in G-d. We are seeing His wondrous protection of the Jewish nation, as Israel’s enemies have been miraculously defeated. And by trusting in Him, then (as a reward for the trust) we can bring G-d’s salvation to us even faster.
So relax. Tell yourself: It will be good.
The best is yet to come. Redemption with Moshiach seems so close.
