Rabbi Dr. Bernhard Rosenberg

We got a call a few hours ago from Houston that they don’t have kosher food. We sent out the following email. Please help if you can .
G-d willing, the waters… will begin to recede later in the week, and then it will be time to prepare for Shabbat.

Lowell Michelson, of Simcha Kosher Catering, along with Rabbi Sholey Klein of Dallas Kosher and Rabbi Bentzi Epstein of DATA, are coordinating a mass effort to produce 1,000 cooked Shabbat meals along with rolls and grape juice to bring down to Houston in time for Shabbat. All the labor is being volunteered and $7,500 will cover the food costs to bring a fresh-cooked Shabbat meal to 1,000 Houstonians.

You can donate below or contact Rabbi Epstein at bentzi@flash.net or 214-724-3282 for more details.
