If you took prisoners but not raped our women

If you raped our women but not slaughtered our men

If you slaughtered our men, but did not also butcher our women

It would have been enough

If you butchered our women but not massacred our elderly

It would have been enough

If you massacred our elderly but not murdered our children

If you murdered our children but did not mutilate their bodies

It would have been enough

Enough – to Unite Us

Enough – to Infuriate Us

Enough – To Teach Us

Enough to commit ourselves to never again
