I’ve been waiting to post this story for some time.  In light of all that has transpired in the Israel / Gaza situation, I am hoping this talk by the founder of JVP (Jerusalem Venture Partners) and Member of the Knesset, Dr. Erel Margalit, will illustrate to the world what is core to Israel’s fabric and ethos.

The talk was given on May 15, when JVP’s Media Quarter hosted Rackspace’s Robert Scoble, as he was in the country for the Wearable Tech Israel Conference co-produced by Nir Kouris and Julien Blin.

I am purposely not going to editorialize this article.  The video in its own right is central to this story.

All I ask is that no matter where in the world you are, no matter what you believe, you not only listen and watch.

May you be inspired.

And may you have a greater understanding of the history of Israel’s startup economy, and have a glimpse of its future through the lens of Dr. Margalit.
