Forget the elections. The focus is now on Iran
Will the opposition manage to oust Netanyahu? Will the Republicans lose their majority in both houses? Normally these questions would be the main news items. Normally everyone would be riveted to the election results.
But these days they seem to be taking second place to what’s going to happen in Iran. The US has warned that after the midterm elections, Iran’s nuclear sites can get bombed. Iran has warned that they will retaliate. Which could lead to further escalation, perhaps even to the point where Iran’s regime is taken out.
We’ve come a long way in the battle against Iran and its proxies. In the past three years, Israel has forged ahead against its enemies. For the first time, the US joined Israel in attacking Iran. And now we anticipate the final act, with the complete vanquishing of this terrible threat against humanity.
We are told that in the times of Moshiach, evil will be wiped away from the face of the earth. Perhaps we are about to witness this monumental event.
All eyes are focussed on Iran. There is much room for optimism, that the Almighty will soon usher in an era of peace for all the world.
