From the Knesset to the Mic: Jeremy Dery Joins Our Mission
Announcing a Bold New Voice on The Rabbi Avi Schwartz Podcast: Jeremy Dery!
I’m honored and thrilled to announce that my dear friend and colleague, Jeremy Dery, will be joining me as a regular Knesset and political commentator on The Rabbi Avi Schwartz Podcast.
Jeremy is not just a sharp analyst — he’s a true Zionist diplomat, a public affairs specialist, and one of the clearest, most committed pro-Israel voices of this generation.
Born in New York City and now based in Jerusalem, Jeremy embodies a global Jewish identity — American and French-Moroccan — that brings depth, nuance, and fire to his advocacy.
A Legacy of Action: Silence? Never Again!
Jeremy’s activism goes beyond words — it’s rooted in real-world action.
In 2014, during a time of heightened terror and slanted media coverage, Jeremy Dery — alongside the courageous Maya Fridman — joined me in organizing and leading the first-ever rally and march in New York City protesting Hamas terror and media-fueled antisemitism.
The rally’s title was:
“Silence? Never Again!”
It was bold. It was historic. And it was prophetic.
The event shattered the silence. It called out moral hypocrisy. It reminded the world — and our people — that Jewish dignity and truth must never again be sacrificed to fear or politics.
Jeremy didn’t just speak — he stood. He led. He helped ignite a movement that, to this day, continues to resonate in Zionist circles worldwide.
A Life Shaped by Mission
From New Jersey and France to the halls of the Knesset, Jeremy’s life has been guided by a powerful sense of purpose. He holds a Master’s in International Relations (Conflict Resolution) from Tel Aviv University and has worked as a parliamentary assistant in the Knesset and as a Middle East research assistant at the GLORIA Center. His career has brought him face-to-face with the core issues of Israel’s identity, diplomacy, and global standing.
Championing Israel on Every Front
Since 2014, Jeremy has been a frontline advocate for Israel and the Jewish people. His op-eds and essays have been published in The Jerusalem Post and The Times of Israel, where he’s challenged the status quo and advocated for stronger, clearer Hasbara.
He’s served in key roles:
At i24NEWS as a VIP Studio Coordinator during the COVID era
In top Israeli hotels (Dan Tel Aviv, David Citadel, King David Hotel) managing VIPs and delegations
With the World Zionist Organization, coordinating global initiatives to fight antisemitism
Jeremy blends media, diplomacy, advocacy, and hospitality into a powerful, magnetic leadership style.
What He Brings to the Podcast
Jeremy will be joining me for weekly updates and sharp insights on:
Knesset developments and behind-the-scenes political dynamics
Israel’s public diplomacy challenges post-October 7th
Antisemitism worldwide — and how to combat it strategically
Zionism’s future in media, education, and activism
He will offer not only commentary — but clarity. He speaks not only with knowledge — but with conviction.
