Beyond Time and Space, G-d Brought Moses to his Resting Place

And, Moses wrote the entries of his passing,

God had dictated to him, with his tears;

Joshua retraced the tears, with sighs and ink,

Mourning the passing of Moses, his mentor.

After all Moses had vanquished,

During the last forty years of his desert’s journey,

Although he carried the burdens of his people,

He was not destined to reach the Promised Land.

Yet, G-d disclosed it all to His beloved child,

For Moses to see, hear, witness the land

And his people, on a stage that revolved

The future, as presented through G-d’s light.

G-d then closed the eyes of Moses with His embrace;

Beyond time and space, G-d brought Moses to his resting place*.

* Place- Makom is another name for G-d, as G-d is in every place
