Getting Rid Of The “Farting Cows”

After synagogue today, I found myself talking with someone about the weekly politics. Well sure enough, the conversation turns to Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her frighteningly extremist views.

For example, her new Green Deal and wanting to get rid of the farting cows within 10-years or a little longer.  As to this insane idea of AOC, I couldn’t help myself and said:

If she wants to get rid of all the farting cows then she should stand behind them and check each one.

Actually, it makes me wonder whether she would like to get rid of the farting people too (or maybe just the Jews who there are inklings of that she doesn’t seem to favor much of either–unfortunately, this seems to be a part of the platform of many in the Democratic Socialists like it was in the Nazi Socialist Party under Hitler).

When politicians are extremists (Alt-left or -right) and want to get rid of farting cows and airplanes, then who knows what or who is next on their genocidal list (and with the elimination of cows being all too reminiscent of the notion of Jews going “like sheep to the slaughter.”)

Of course, in terms of the environment, I am a staunch believer in renewable power sources and also support a reasonable Green Deal that is good for our economy and for our posterity.

But bigotry, hate and extremism doesn’t work here or in any other context, and it should be resolutely rejected–it hurts this important cause and should be repudiated not only for the cows, but for all of us.
