Global Happiness is very Simple
My dear Friends, global Happiness sounds very broad and almost unachievable, but greater global structure does consist of much smaller elements of locally generated sparks of happiness. Shared local happiness should consist of Family happiness, which further should be based and cherished on the Individual foundation of love. Each of us does contribute to the shared World of Happiness. And our individual happiness is critical for the sustainability of the macrocosmic shared Energy that constantly circulate across the Globe. Your individual state of mind and positive attitude is crucial 5th element that charges our joint daily existence.
Dear Ginger, or as I like to call you Rizhaya, thank you for everything you did and for your hospitality. But mostly for your unconditional Trust. Thank you for our frankly-rough, politically-non-correct-blunt, intimately-deep night-long conversations on various ambiguous subjects ranging from Religion, Music, Art, Theater, Movies, Parents vs. Children troubled relationship, Ethics vs. fallen Morals, developing stages of Self-Identity crisis caused by childhood trauma, Men vs. Women gradual phases of growing admiration followed by internal despise, Utopian Reality vs. Imaginary Delusion, Broken fake marriages, Homosexuality as global trend vs. developed neurosis, appropriate limits of Sexual interactions vs. unacceptable limits of Physical Domination and Mental Abuse, Oriental Chinese medicine vs. Traditional Western remedies, Food nutrition practices, Acupuncture techniques, Life goals and Timeless agenda, our Jewish roots and fundamental Family values. Thank you for your kind words, thank you for understanding, thank you for not asking more. Thank you for inviting to watch Andrey Zvyagintsev’s new “Loveless” dramatic movie on Red Square, what a powerfully toxic subject does it portray. Thank you for accompanying to see my favorite Theater director Roman Viktyuk, your feedback was as always very unique, thoughtful and relevant. And most importantly, thank you for so playfully with such an ease letting me go to visit my dear Friends, my Birthplace, city of strong People and fearless Character, Rostov-on-Don. City where I grew up and build my never-ending Jewish identity.
To be truly Happy you should start with yourself, first of all, be Honest to yourself, endlessly work on perfecting yourself, positively affect people within your nuclear range. Thus, Happiness would be developed into something more permanent and would have long lasting shareable effect. Now you can share this individually packaged dose of energy with your Family, Friends, Colleagues, Lovers, Neighbors and even strangers on the street just by sharing your smile or extending one’s hand when simple grip is needed. To be even more Happy yourself, you have to challenge your inner comfort zone and make someone else near you a little bit Happier than yourself.
My dear childhood friends, fourteen years have passed since our high school graduation ceremony, twenty years have passed since we stood side by side happily staring at each other, wishing future success and the most wild dreams to come true.
Now, my dear friends some of you are happy parents, happily married, busy working your dream jobs. I was genuinely happy to reunite once again, to reunite with each of you and charge back with a simple smile, true friendly hug, a gentle happy kiss in a chick.
Isn’t it a true meaning of Happiness, just to share loughs, remember some foolish happy moments of our shared past, once again to have drinks with each other, once again, after years apart and mile away from each other to simply be in the same room.
Real Friends do exactly what all of you did: waiting at the airport on a two hours notice in the middle of the busy week, having a cup of coffee on Pushkinskaya street, preparing Shamaika fish that you can only get in Rostov, having a slow peaceful Sunday walk along the river Don, having a late night or maybe it was early morning Red Burger with Champagne.
Dear Friends, you are all the key elements of the Global Happiness chain.
Love you All.
