Grilled Strip Steak with Mustard and Citrus

If you love steak this is absolutely mouth watering. This is so good I have no idea why your wasting your time reading this. Go get the steaks and the rest of the stuff and start cooking!

Grilled Strip Steak with Mustard and Citrus

Ingredients

4 – 8 oz. 2 inch thick Kosher New York Strip Steaks
4 Tbs. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
4 tbs. Dijon Mustard
4 cloves Garlic, crushed and minced
1 tsp. crushed Red Pepper Flakes
Salt and fresh Cracked Black Pepper to taste
Juice of two fresh Lemons

Directions

Whisk the oil, mustard, garlic, juice of one Lemon and crushed red pepper flakes in a small bowl. Coat the steaks with the Dijon mustard mixture. Season each of the steaks with lots of cracked pepper and a little salt. Cover and chill for 4 hours. Let the steaks stand at room temperature for about an hour before you grill.

Preheat the grill and add some soaked Hickory Chips.

Sear the steaks directly over the flames for 3 minutes and then using indirect heat grill for another 12-18 minutes to the desired doneness. Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Serve with a fresh salad, potato, a green vegetable, some fresh bread and lots of cold beer.
