Hamas Is Responsible for All the Misery in Gaza
This week the oldest synagogue in Australia was firebombed to the ground after many months of “pro-Palestinian” hate-filled riots and provocation. The media barely covered this; instead, they heavily promoted a poorly researched and biased Amnesty International report, which falsely accused Israel of genocide.
At what point will enough be enough? The facts are so overwhelming that it’s almost incomprehensible how the so-called “Pro-Palestinian” movement even exists at this point, except that it is sponsored by Iran and preys on the brainwashing of “useful idiots” to take over our campuses and streets, rant their scripted racist propaganda and baseless accusations of genocide, destroy property, threaten and harass our citizens, burn our flags, and chant death to Israel and America.
However, the reality is that Hamas terrorists along with the corrupt Palestinian leadership and the radical Iranian regime are the ones solely responsible for the misery in Gaza.
Palestinians and Arab States Rejected the UN Partition Plan of 1947 and Attacked Israel
From the University of Michigan’s College of Literature, Science, and the Arts:
The Palestinian Arabs and the surrounding Arab states rejected the UN plan and regarded the General Assembly vote as an international betrayal. Some argued that the UN plan allotted too much territory to the Jews. Most Arabs regarded the proposed Jewish state as a settler colony and argued that it was only because the British had permitted extensive Zionist settlement in Palestine against the wishes of the Arab majority that the question of Jewish statehood was on the international agenda at all….On May 15, 1948, the British evacuated Palestine, and Zionist leaders proclaimed the state of Israel. Neighboring Arab states (Egypt, Syria, Jordan, and Iraq) then invaded Israel, claiming that they sought to “save” Palestine from the Zionists. In fact, the Arab rulers had territorial designs on Palestine and were no more anxious to see a Palestinian Arab state emerge than the Zionists.
Palestinians Subsequently and Repeatedly Rejected Peace
In the words of former U.S. President Bill Clinton, for example:
At the 2000 Camp David Summit, Palestinian National Authority President Yasser Arafat ridiculously rejected a most generous offer of peace, and he literally:
Walked away from a Palestinian state with a capital in East Jerusalem, 96% of the West Bank, 4% of Israel to make up for the 4% that the settlers occupy that were beyond the borders in the 67 war… You walk away from these once-in-a-lifetime peace opportunities, and you can’t complain 25 years later when the doors weren’t all still open and all the possibilities weren’t still there. You can’t do it.
Hamas Terrorists Violently Seized Control Over Independent Gaza in 2007
In 2005, towards the end of the Second Intifada, Israel unilaterally withdrew from Gaza in the hopes of achieving progress toward ultimate peace with the Palestinians. However, in 2007, Hamas seized control of the enclave. From that time forward, they repeatedly attacked the State of Israel with missiles, rockets, and terror tunnels, which resulted in no less than five consecutive wars with the democratic State of Israel in 2008, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the most recent one in 2023 that started with Hamas’s rampage over the Israeli border and the brutal murder of over 1,200 people and 250 taken hostage into Gaza.
Hamas Are the Ones Who Started the War on October 7, 2023
As stated by U.S. Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken:
On October 7, 2023, more than 1,200 men, women, and children, including 46 Americans and citizens of more than 30 countries, were slaughtered by Hamas—the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. Girls and women were sexually assaulted. The depravity of Hamas’s crimes is almost unspeakable. Hamas also took 254 people hostage that day, including 12 Americans…Hamas’ attacks on October 7 unleashed a year of conflict, with tragic consequences for the Palestinian people.
Hamas Terrorists Routinely Commit the War Crime of Using Human Shields
For the last 17 years, Hamas terrorists have been hiding and firing missiles, rockets, and other weapons from homes, schools, hospitals, and mosques in Gaza, steal and attack humanitarian aid, and use the resulting casualties for “photo ops” and fake propaganda to gain sympathy for the Palestinians cause at the expense of the people of Gaza.
According to NATO Strategic Communications Center of Excellence:
Hamas, an Islamist militant group and the de facto governing authority of the Gaza Strip, has been using human shields in conflicts with Israel since 2007. According to the Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC), the war crime of using human shields encompasses “utilizing the presence of a civilian or other protected person to render certain points, areas, or military forces immune from military operations.” Hamas has launched rockets, positioned military-related infrastructure-hubs and routes, and engaged the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) from, or in proximity to, residential and commercial areas. The strategic logic of human shields has two components. It is based on an awareness of Israel’s desire to minimise collateral damage, and of Western public opinion’s sensitivity towards civilian casualties. If the IDF uses lethal force and causes an increase in civilian casualties, Hamas can utilise that as a lawfare tool: it can accuse Israel of committing war crimes, which could result in the imposition of a wide array of sanctions. Alternatively, if the IDF limits its use of military force in Gaza to avoid collateral damage, Hamas will be less susceptible to Israeli attacks, and thereby able to protect its assets while continuing to fight.
Iran Sponsors Terrorism and War Through It’s Terrorist Proxies Such as Hamas
According to The Washington Institute of Near East Policy:
On the Hamas massacre in Israel on October 7,
One thing is clear: Hamas would not have been able to plan and conduct such an operation without years of Iranian training, Iranian weapons, and hundreds of millions of dollars in Iranian funding…this much is already clear: Iran has funded, armed, trained, and provided intelligence to Hamas for decades.
Similar to Hamas, Iran’s terrorist proxies of Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthis in Yemen have been attacking Israel since October 8, and the recent ceasefire reached in Lebanon is still not clear whether it will be sustainable or will devolve with increased pressure from the radical Iranian regime to keep fighting.
Gaza Could Achieve a Permanent Ceasefire at Anytime
At any time, the Palestinians in Gaza could have a permanent ceasefire, if they decide to end their hostilities with the Jewish State of Israel, unconditionally surrender and lay down their arms, and release the approximate 100 hostages that they continue to hold. Unfortunately, it is the Hamas terrorists and corrupt Palestinian leadership spurred on and supported by funding, weapons, and training from the #1 Global State Sponsor of Terror, Iran, that are solely responsible for the continuation of the fighting and resulting devastation to the people of Gaza.
