How Good is Trump Going to be for Israel? It’s Not That Simple! PART 2

After Trumps victory both the New York Times and the pathetic ones on CNN and MSNBC almost immediately renewed the same old, tired attacks on him. Have they learned nothing? Did they never hear of overkill, of piling on?
New York Jews, especially Manhattan Jews, love the New York Times. They also love the New Yorker magazine, which has been a consistent critic of Trump for years using the most vitriolic language.
On the cover of their November 18 magazine (the New Yorker is a weekly), there is a darkened image, an illustration of a figure that could only be Trump. It is a portrait of a villain.
The Jewish number one guy at the New Yorker is David Remnick. A few of his
comments –
“He is a poisonous demagogue, a bigot – the dimensions of his malevolence” are huge. He is – “contemptuous of the truth”, he is also contemptuous of human rights. Because of him, the Republican party is “morally broken”.
Remnick shows his love for Obama calling him – “a generational political talent”.
Of course, in the same edition, there is room for the venom of the Jewish Rachel Maddow. She refers to Trump as the worst president in American history. She says that all demagogues throughout history have been crooks, and of course, that includes Trump.
The headline of another article in the New Yorker is – “American Fascist”.
Any normal person without an axe to grind would say – you’re overdoing it. We get it – you hate the guy – you believe he is unfit to be president – he’s a liar, a cheat, an adulterer, and a would-be dictator. But night after night on television – day after day in newspapers and magazines. On and on without let up.
His base despises all of you. There are many Americans who are not fans of Trump but they dislike the highly paid haters more – and they end up voting for him.
What two Manhattan juries did to Trump demonstrate the visceral hatred they have for him. A New York District Attorney went after him, knowing that would greatly increase his political standing. An Attorney General running successfully for office based her entire campaign on a promise to bring Trump down.
A jury found Trump guilty of 34 felonies for falsifying business records to disguise hush money of a hundred and 30 thousand dollars paid to Stormy Daniels. For a time, Stormy and her attorney, Michael Avenatti, were the most frequent guests on CNN and MSNBC. Avenatti appeared over 300 times to talk about the burning issue of whether his pornography client had sex with Trump. Her story was that it happened only once, and it was consensual.
Trump was forced to sit in that courtroom for many weeks listening to Stormy and to convicted liar, Michael Cohen, blast him. Watching day after day while an anti-Trump judge was taking the circus very seriously. Beyond demeaning plus the humiliation of a gag order. But Trump dealt with it and that’s why millions love him. He is a fighter as he demonstrated when the bullet nicked his ear and with blood covering his face he was shouting – “Fight, Fight”.
The Manhattan district attorney, even after Trumps victory, is opposed to dismissing the Stormy/Cohen revenge case. He wants the option of jailing Trump after his term ends. SICK!
Sometimes Trump uses very poor judgment. He could have admitted the truth, apologized to his wife, and moved on. Instead, he denied her story. I don’t think admitting it would have cost him any votes. Men would have joked about it (locker room talk), and to them, it would have increased his likability.
The media referred constantly to an affair between them. No, idiots, an affair implies that there is a relationship, not a one shot deal devoid of meaning. The media also referred to Stormy as an actress. There is no acting involved in pornographic movies.
Avenatti wound up in prison. He even stole money from Stormy. He stole settlement money from his own clients who had suffered paralyzing injuries. And this is the guy that Anderson Cooper and Rachel Maddow invited into the homes of millions of Americans.
That was a criminal case against Trump, and he could have been sentenced to prison. Now, let’s turn to a civil case, which would have been a joke if the defendant was anyone other than Donald Trump. A case, which again, demonstrates the irrational hatred that many Manhattanites have against Trump.
Jean Carroll, a sophisticated New Yorker, sued Trump for defamation because he denied her story and insulted her. What was her story? That some 25 years earlier, Trump had raped her in a dressing room of the upscale Manhattan department store, Bergdorf Goodman. She did not report the “rape” to the store, she did not go to the police, she did not get examined. She did not go to the media, although she had contacts in the media being a magazine writer herself.
Over 20 years later, she wrote a book describing it. Again, Trump used very poor judgment; at times he is his own worst enemy. He did not appear at the trial. The jury awarded her over $60 million. They could not have believed her story – they simply wanted to punish Trump.
It is okay to despise Trump, but if you have any sense of fairness, you could not possibly be a party to these exercises, which made a mockery of the American justice system. Many Manhattan Jews loved the verdicts which could cause Trump to rethink how strongly he will support Israel. That support is never appreciated by these ultra-liberal Jews. Remember that Trump is unpredictable and impulsive and is a strong believer in payback. In 2020 Biden crushed Trump in Manhattan.
And I haven’t even mentioned the two impeachments and the Mueller investigation. What was that all about? Almost as soon as Trump became president in 2016 his enemies in the media accused him of colluding with Russia that enabled him to defeat Hillary Clinton. They had no solid evidence to back up that charge. They made a huge deal of the fact that Trump had said some positive things about Putin. Anything the haters could latch onto.
Trump fired his FBI director, James Comey, for not being sufficiently loyal. Comey sought to destroy Trump whom he despised. His strategy was to get Robert Mueller appointed as special counsel to investigate, and hopefully conclude, that Trump did, in fact, collude with Russia. Mueller had led the FBI for 12 years and had a solid reputation. He and Comey were close.
Mueller’s investigation took nearly 2 years. He hired 59 lawyers and investigators. His staff conducted hundreds of interviews. His conclusion was a triumph for Trump –
THEY DID NOT ESTABLISH THAT THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN CONSPIRED OR COORDINATED WITH THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT.
What a colossal waste of time and resources! Of course no apology from Maddow – just another giggle and smirk. She and O’Donnell did not miss a beat. No collusion with Russia which they had reported thousands of times. They just pivoted to a new theory – that Trump was guilty of obstruction of justice. That shot in the dark never gained traction.
Ironically, Comey was a major cause of Hillary Clinton’s defeat by Trump in the 2016 election. Hillary had done something incredibly stupid. As Obama’s Secretary of State, she had a secret private email server. That fact became public, and Comey had the job of investigating her. After many months and much media criticism, Comey concluded that Hillary had been very careless in her handling of very sensitive and highly classified information. He could have recommended criminal charges, but he did not.
His conclusion, however, enabled Trump to label Hillary as – “crooked Hillary” throughout the campaign.
SOME CLOSING THOUGHTS
Omitting the personal attacks Trumps opponents could have made a strong case alleging that he was unstable. He had multiple defense secretaries during his earlier 4 years, also multiple chiefs of staff, he had four press secretaries. He does not get along with people, he is a poor judge of character.
I do not believe that America will wipe out Iran’s nuclear capacity under President Trump. I am very uncomfortable with the fact that Elon Musk has met with Iran’s Ambassador to the United Nations. We have no idea if any promises were made. I do not believe that Trump will object to Israels destruction of Iran’s nuclear capacity. Will Trump give Israel all the weapons, all the bombs that it needs?
I believe that Trump is a true friend of Israel who despises all terrorist organizations. His daughter, Ivanka, is a convert to Orthodox Judaism – her children are Jewish. Will she and her husband push Trump in the right direction?
What worries me is Trumps gigantic ego. He would like to go down in history as a peacemaker. That he would be the only leader to have brokered a peace deal with the Palestinians.
During his first term as President, he actually came up with a detailed “peace plan” for a two-state solution. Being pushed by his daughter and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, he became an advocate for a Palestinian state. I assume the mass atrocities of October 7 by the Palestinians of Hamas changed his mind. He has to understand the great fiction in the Arab World that Egypt, Saudi Arabia, etc. want a Palestinian state – they do not! Their greatest fear is radical Islam so they have to pretend they favor such a state. Osama bin Laden hated Saudi Arabia and the Saudis hated him.
Thankfully they never join in when the Palestinian terrorist organizations seek to destroy Israel. Trumps great accomplishment during his first term was the Abraham Accords which promised peace between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco. Yet all four continue to say they favor a Palestinian state. America has always bought into that fiction.
Trump considers himself the world’s greatest negotiator so the danger of a deal remains a possibility. And his mentality is such that he always favors a “deal” over total victory. That has always been the goal of the American government as well irrespective of whether a Republican or Democrat was in the White House.
