How to Pave the Road

“How to pave the road where there is no road?

How to find a home where I can go?

How to pray to God without any words,

Without asking why I have to go?”

“The grass grows; the trees grow;

Spring appears in the sky; the sun shines;

A rainbow appears and we do not know why.

Forget yourself my friend and listen to your heart;”

“And then the voice will come; and tell you how to start.”

And you will find your home; and you will pave your road

Which will be built for you by an angel sent from God.

How to pave the road where there is no road”

“Which will be built for you by an angel sent from God.

How to pave the road, where there is no road?

How to find a home where I can go?

How to pray to God without any words, without asking why I have to go.”

All of life is a journey called for a mission

To fulfill the very reason for one’s birth.

First one must travel within to find oneself

For the purpose of the direction to be perceived.

Neither is the itinerary given, nor mapped.

The destination is never known.

The inner and outer journey must meet

To accomplish the tasks ordained at each waystation.

For that we must find our way from whom we are,

To whom we were meant, choose and work to be;

Only then can we assist others to trace

Their personal and external route.

Obstacles and challenges await us

With detours bestowed for us to arrive,

Solely, when we are ready for our foretold

Divinely promised destination.
