How To Save Israel

Israel is in turmoil and there is only one solution, said former Rep. Michelle Bachmann (R-MN) upon returning from her most recent visit to the Holy Land. Jesus is "coming soon" and the Jews must convert to Christianity while there is still time.

The former congresswoman is a foreign policy advisor to Donald Trump a member of his Evangelical Executive Advisory Board. Prior to going to Israel she suggested the damage caused by Hurricane Joaquin in the Caribbean last September was caused by the Obama administration "turn[ing] our back on Israel."

Her latest pronouncement is that God anointed Trump to be president.  She didn't always feel that way.  She used to think the chosen one was Ted Cruz, as did the Texas senator's father, a born again pastor who said that's what God told Ted's wife.

Now Bachmann believes "God raised up" Trump, she told David Brody  on his CBN News program last week. And she prays daily "to make sure" Trump becomes president.

According to Brody "she's one of the people who has his ear when it comes to matters of faith."

If Trump is elected president, God will smile on America and everyone, even the Jews, will be able to say "Merry Christmas," she prophesized, but a victory by Hillary Clinton in November will “bring…certain destruction for the United States.”

She told a conservative radio talk show that Trump told her,  "[W]hen I was growing up, everybody said Merry Christmas. Even my Jews  [emphasis added] would say Merry Christmas. New York City, there are a lot of Jews, and they would even say Merry Christmas. Why can’t we even say Merry Christmas anymore?"

I don't know where that dynamic duo got such bubbehmysis unless they've been overdosing on Rush Limbaugh.

Islamic terrorism is also an act of God, according to Bachmann, and you know whose fault that is.

President Barack Obama's trip to Cuba earlier this year instead of attending the AIPAC policy conference in Washington was a calculated affront to "the Jewish people and the nation of Israel," Bachmann said, and God punished and humiliated him by sending Islamic terrorists to Brussels the next day.

She has accused American Jews of having "sold out Israel" by supporting Obama's "political ambitions" over the best interests of the Jewish state.

God will smile on American if Trump, a good Christian, is elected, she said, but Hillary Clinton will be “pro-Islam” and will turn the country into a “godless United States that will walk into certain catastrophe.”

Reading through what she's said on Israel, Jews, Muslims, Sharia law and religion, it's clear she's a good fit for Trump.   Like Trump, facts for Bachmann are irrelevant.  She accused Obama in 2012 of giving millions of undocumented aliens the right to vote so he could "transform to United States into, like, a Third World country."
