How to win

You do what Israel did. Even if the whole world screams at you, continue to do what’s right.

And eventually, the world will thank you.

Even if you are surrounded on seven fronts, keep on doing what’s right.

Even when things look hopeless, keep on going.

And then, when you start noticing surprising victories, realize that the Almighty is helping.

When beepers blow up, and enemy leaders are killed, and Syria falls, and Iran is clobbered, and Iranian missiles fail, and captives come home, and world leaders pressured Hamas to free those captives, and when so many miracles happen that you are overwhelmed by His kindness, when all this happens and more, it’s time to think, and to open our eyes to the wonders.

When Redemption seems so close, it’s time to think about it, and to look forward to the boundless happiness that awaits us.

May it happen very soon.

P.S. These days we laugh and we cry. We laugh for the victories and the returned hostages, and we cry for the tragedies. (And we try to comfort the orphan and widow — as the previous post on this blog shows how the Lubavitcher Rebbe reached out to strengthen them.)

But we look forward to very soon seeing the complete Redemption with Moshiach, when the dead will become alive, and then the happiness will be immense.
