I am a Zionist….

Someone asked me today how could I stand to be a Zionist. Well, the answer was more than 140 characters,

I am a Zionist. I believe that Jews have the right to self determination. I believe Israel has the right to exist. I believe Israel has the right to defend itself. I believe Israel has the right to protects its borders.

Because I am a Zionist, I don’t believe that the Palestinians are not a people. I don’t want to see Palestinians dead. I don’t think the Palestinians should “go away”.

I also don’t think that Hamas, Fatah or other groups, including the BDS, who say they have the best interests of the Palestinians actually care about the Palestinians. I believe they have one goal: the complete destruction of Israel. I believe there is nothing Israel could do to make these groups happy, other than disappearing completely.

I don’t hate the Palestinians. I don’t hate Muslims. I do not believe that Palestinians want to kill all Jews. I do not believe that Palestinians are all evil. I truly believe that Palestinans want the same things Israelis do: peace. I beleive that with all my heart. Call me crazy, call me an idealist. I believe that.
