I had a Dream

I woke up this morning read the news and wrote this poem:

I had a dream
It was happy and sad
I was flying falling
Laughing hysterically crying torrentially having so much fun
That was no dream it was a nightmare

I had a dream
It was light and dark
I was singing screaming
chanting off key shouting in a whisper having so much fun
That was no dream it was a nightmare

I had a nightmare
It lasted all year
The end is in sight but we haven’t yet started
The abyss is staring me right in the face no more fun
That was no nightmare it was reality
