Imagine All the Innocent

Imagine a handful of innocent San Salvadorian or other Central American children sneaking into the US via Arizona wearing suicide belts.

Imagine US border patrol guards uncovering an innocent looking tunnel leading from Mexico into the Rio Grand Valley in Texas replete with Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPG’s) and Anti Tank Missles.

Imagine 700 innocent Cameroonians scaling a barbed wire wall in Melilla, Morocco to illegally enter Spain bearing machine guns and grenades.

Imagine you’re an Israeli.

Imagine an open truck driven by a human trafficker filled with 40 innocent men, women and children crossing the Baja Peninsula into southwest California with two mounted machine guns.

Imagine a plane load of 270 innocent civilians bearing down on England’s House of Lords or the Eiffel Tower with less than three minutes to impact.

Imagine a sniper dressed in innocent civilian clothes with your 10 year old child in his scope.

Imagine you’re an Israeli.

Imagine seven men rushing at your family outing in Central Park dressed as innocent New York’s finest screaming Allah Akbar shooting their Glocks.

Imagine four innocent frogmen exiting the waters off Coney Island beach on a hot summer day rushing to the shore throwing explosives at the swarming bathers.

Imagine standing outside an innocent mosque in Anytown Austria, Belgium, France, England, Germany and the police discover a cache of explosives set to detonate in 60 seconds.

Imagine a National Guard soldier guarding Grand Central Terminal at rush hour grabbing your innocent baby from her stroller to use as his shield as he begins shooting into the rush hour crowd.

Imagine you’re an Israeli.

Imagine what air travel was like pre 9.11 and ever since ONE shoe bomber was thwarted. US airports are now patrolled by 58,401 TSA agents not to mention tens of thousands of local police in the nations 376 major airports.

Imagine if the European Union warned their citizens not to travel to Boston following the tragic end to the Boston marathon until Boston police could absolutely guarantee the safety of all innocent tourists.

Imagine your neighbor living 6000 miles away saying you need to show more restraint at the person threatening to kill you, your family, your neighbors, your city, your country.

Imagine your President or Prime Minister telling you in each of these situations that these gunmen are oppressed, innocent refugees, and if we had only provided better living conditions they would not have killed our sons, our husbands, our mothers, our small children.

Could you imagine?
Not if you’re Israeli.
