On May 25, 2023, Israel National News published, “Betrayal” The failure of American Jewish Leadership” by Dr. Alex Grobman. It is a review of a book by Charles Jacobs and Avi Goldwasser’s collection of essays that “tell it like it is, is frightening” and long overdue.

They name the organizations, but omit J Street, [although they do mention the Union for reform Judaism], ZOA, AFSI and CAMERA. Presumably the last 3 are exempt since they are “right-wing”.

The introductory remarks are very explicit. “They describe the issues American Jews face today and how liberalism, which historically guided their approach, has been replaced by a destructive ‘progressive ‘ideology, cancel, culture that has “seduced” most Jewish leaders.

Of the ten measures for improvement proposed, only some are realistic. How do they think that they can transform the Jewish members of today’s Democrat Party?  J-Street is so extreme that it is unable to gain acceptance by the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. As an example of the problem under discussion, J Street’s founder Jeremy Ben -Ami, whose Leftism is in the extreme is the son of an Irgun leader, Yitzhak Ben-Ami! Even famed Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz has debated the J Street leader, only to fail.

Jacobs and Goldwasser maintain that presently, when we need strong leadership, we have weak, politicized bureaucrats too often more concerned with their social status, the perks of power, and their organization’s financial success than with their responsibility to defend the community.

Dennis Prager has been a leader in analyzing what he terms Leftism, the replacement of the previously well established Liberalism. He considers  “Left-Wing Jews; an American and Jewish Tragedy.” How different are a significant number of Israeli pedestrian protestors?

Prager continues, “It is probably  impossible to overstate the damage left-wing – not liberal, are doing to Judaism Jews and America.”The damage done to Jews by left-wing Jews is not new. It began at the beginning of the left with Karl Marx, the grandson of two Orthodox rabbis [his parents had undergone pro forma conversion to Christianity]. He wrote one of the most antisemitic tracts of the 19th century, ‘On the Jewish Question, ‘published in 1844.

They include:

‘What is the worldly religion of the Jew? Huckstering. What is his worldly G-d? Money. Money is the jealous G-d of Israel, in face of which no other god may exist. In the final analysis, emancipation of the Jews is the emancipation of mankind from Judaism.”

In the early 20th century, another left-wing Jew, Leon Trotsky, who along with Lenin, led the Bolshevik Party, was a catastrophe for Jews and for humanity.

The story of many Jewish leftists to this day – they make revolutions , and all the Jews [among millions of others, pay the price. Thus, many of the leaders of the movement to economically strangle Israel – the Boycott, Divest, Sanctions [BDS] movement – are left-wing Jews.

Many non-Orthodox synagogues sat shiva–Judaism’s seven days of mourning after the death of an immediate relative–when Donald Trump was elected president. Ever since Stalin labeled Trotsky a ‘fascist’, leftists have always depicted their opponents as ‘Nazis, racists, haters and bigots as well as fascists.’ That is their modus operandi.

The ADL, which at one time was preoccupied with fighting antisemitism, is now preoccupied with fighting Donald Trump.”

As for Muslim antisemitism, one need not go far from the Democrat Party where radicals have gained full acceptance. For that matter, so have Jewish antisemites. The Spectator has just posted, “Dear Rashida Tlaib: There Never Was an Arab Palestine.” by Rabbi Dov Fischer. This followed House Speaker Kevin McCarthy closing down an anti-Israel event that Jew-hater Rashida Tlaib and her Jew-hating Squad had planned to hold in the halls of the United States House of Representatives. “Instead the Speaker redesignated the reserved room to hold a celebration on the occasion of Israel’s 75th anniversary.”

Of course, Tlaib’s program was intended for the opposite purpose: to mourn the existence of the one and only Jewish-majority country in the world, located amid a sea of Arab Muslim countries that want to destroy it.

No sooner did McCarthy, a great supporter of Israel act forcefully than Bernie Sanders, the Senate’s own Jewish apostate, who always is in bed with the woke inter-sectionalist Jew haters of the “progressive” Left, arranged for Tlaib instead to hold her Day of Mourning in the US Senate.

It is well known that there are ” no anti-Semites in all the world who compare in their hatred with Jewish apostates, driven by a deep profound sickness of self-hate and a compulsion to prove to their fellow travelers on the extreme left that, despite their accident of birth, they really are interested in being identified, not as Jews, but as non-parochial universalists.

Dov Fischer engages in an education lesson based on recorded history, not only for Rashida Tlaib, the Squad, Sanders, and George Soros. Indeed, Biden, Blinken, Schumer, Schiff and Nadler would gain much from this Op-Ed on Israel’s status as the only Indigenous claimant to the Land of Israel and the dysfunctional idea of a two-state solution Last but not least, Israel’s leaders could most certainly make use of the given arguments.

“The Arabs of pre-state Israel were pro-Hitler Nazis. Their undisputed leader, Haj-Amin el-Husseni, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, traveled to Berlin and met with Hitler, counseled him and his Nazi leadership, urging the eradication of the Jews. The official transcript of the Grand Mufti’s meeting with Hitler on Nov.28,1941 follows:

These Arab Muslims were not freedom fighters, they were Hitler Nazis. In pre-state Israel, they launched  vicious pogroms during 1920-21, 1929, and1936-39. These facts are recorded in the Hebron Massacre. Roman conquerors under Vespasian and Titus destroyed the Holy Temple in the year 70, and the Romans drove most of the remaining Jews out of Israel in the year 135 under Hadrian and Julius Severus with the fall of Fortress Betar. To extinguish the Jewish bond with the land – and to prevent yet another Jewish return to Israel from Exile, as previously, the Romans changed the name to Palestine. There were no Arab Muslims in the Bible.

For 2,000 years after the Romans renamed Israel, the land of ‘Palestine’ was synonymous with the Land of Israel. Israel’s Jews were recognized as the ‘Palestinians’.

Joan Peters in her seminal work, “From Time Immemorial: The Origins of the Arab-Jewish Conflict Over Palestine” , fills in the gap in time as to who took whose land. Her categorical response, ‘ The Arabs, she said, took the Jews ‘land.’

For her 600 page award-winning [1984]book, she painstakingly researched the history of the Holy Land’s population and found that most of the so-called Palestinians arrived from other countries within the last 80 years, whereas the Jewish people have lived there for more than 3,000 years – since the days of Joshua.

Dov Fischer’s conclusion:

“The opinions of the United Nations, the European Union, the Arab and Muslim World, and the Russia-China-North Korea axis do not matter. Nor do those of Biden, Blinken, Nides, Sanders, and that crew. As Ben Shapiro famously has written, ‘fact’s don’t crew about your feelings” ‘Enjoy Nakba, Rashida, and may you celebrate many more for years to come.’
