I was about to post this series just prior to the Israeli strike on Iran. It is still relevant.

What is Truth?

I attended a transcendental meditation retreat hosted by Deepak Chopra. It was life changing. Deepak taught the meditation process, and gave each participant a unique mantra. He explained why/how the body contains seven shakra centers; within each shakra there are four sutras (Sanskrit for stitches) of intentions. Each meditation session concludes by reciting all the sutras. Lately I’ve been focusing on the forehead shakra, second sutra, truth = the meaning behind an event. 

Follow the money…

To write/report a story you dive deep and investigate, seeking truth. To learn the truth about something shady you simply “follow the money”. Thankfully there are people with integrity, upholding truth, freedom and our democratic way of life who did incredible investigative reporting, followed the money trail and found shocking truths.

For decades, money has been pouring in from Non Allied Countries, to prestigious universities throughout the US. In exchange these universities created departments where alternate narratives were taught; typically anti Israeli, anti American and anti Western. Money is never free. The universities understood there was a gag order. Many of these universities set up branches in Qatar, UAE, China; selling their souls for obscene amounts of money.

I learned about this several years ago after viewing the film by Clarion Project  Covert Cash. The film shows a Qatar Education campus filled with logos of prestigious US universities. US students can study in Qatar; some are journalism students who then intern at the Arabic news station Al Jezeera. Upon graduation they get jobs at US news stations, newspapers, some making their way into politics. We wonder why the news is so biased? Honestly did a podcast called How Qatar Bought America on this very subject.

Connecting dots…

Malcolm Gladwell recently updated his book The Tipping Point, by publishing Revenge of the Tipping Point. He distills statistical data into stories and maintains you can apply formulas/rules from the data and use them for good or bad purposes. He is seeing disturbing trends in social engineering.

I have a childhood friend, who became a professor at an Ivy League university. I last saw him 20 years ago. He told me his school had a Middle Eastern studies department, where wealthy Middle Eastern families sent their children to study. He would hear some of those students laughing at our “open society” saying they will learn our ways, get elected into power and bring down our society.

Recently at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, I picked up a Hebrew version of the book Son of Hamas, by Mosab Hassan Yousef, it was made into movie The Green Prince. Mosab is an incredible advocate for Israel, speaking regularly about the extreme Muslim world and its dangers to Western society. The first time I read it in English 15 years ago I was overwhelmed. I thought it was time to reread, better understand what we are up against.

Mosab’s most serious/revealing statements:

• Mosab is the first born son of Imam Hassan Yousef, one of the seven founders of Hamas.
• Values and traditions mean more to Arab people than government constitutions and courts. Mosab’s father become the highest level religious leader, their decree/rule is considered law.
• According to the Qur’an when an enemy invades any Muslim country, all Muslims are called to fight and defend their land.
• “Islamic life is like a ladder, with prayer and praising Allah as the bottom rung. The higher rungs represent helping the poor and needy, establishing schools and supporting charities. THE HIGHEST RUNG IS JIHAD. The ladder is tall. Few look up to see what is at the top. And progress is usually gradual, almost imperceptible-like a barn cat stalking a swallow. The swallow never takes its eyes off the cat. It just stands there, watching the cat walk back and forth, back and forth. But the swallow does not judge depth. It does not see that the cat is getting a bit closer with every pass, until in the blink of an eye, the cat’s claws are stained with the swallow’s blood.” Mosab Hasan Yousef
• A moderate Muslim is more dangerous than a fundamentalist, you never know when they take the next step. Most suicide bombers began as moderates.

Who is behind this?

Once you begin connecting the dots you see a bigger picture.  A shadowy network of individuals who are anti Israeli, anti Jewish and anti Western is spreading throughout the world. The same “bad actors” sending money to the universities are the same people who funded Hamas, Hezbolla, Houti’s, and built the tunnels. I was in Columbus, Ohio a month ago. I heard about an indie book store The Book Loft. I had a bit of time so I visited. Its in an old charming building with so many rooms you need a map to see it all. I loved it at first. While exploring I  saw the book by Rashid Khalidi, The Hundred Years War on Palestine, as well as Mein Kampf by Adolph Hitler, displayed prominently in multiple areas . They were facing outward or angled in a corner, you could not miss them. I thought in Columbus?

I follow blogger Eve Barlow on Substack her column is Blacklisted. She has been writing/ringing the clarion bell about what is happening in the world. Her recent column gave me the chills, What is Pride?  She is queer and describes going into a  “queer” book store recently in LA. She found many books prominently displayed on Palestine, nothing on Israel, and stickers on Nazi propaganda. She writes these books stores are breeding grounds for extremism. Who is encouraging the sale of these books?

The story my friend told me was so chilling, I never forgot. I thought of my friend and his students when the coordinated protests began on Oct 8. As the massacre in Israel was unfolding, violent mobs throughout the world sprung up with identical signage, masks, chants condemning Israel, saying kill all Jews, Israeli’s, Westerners, globalize the intifada. My friend’s students have been doing as promised; they created an incredibly successful network spreading their anti Jewish, anti Western ideology.

Note: The people who flew the planes into the twin towers on 9/11 were radicalized. See final point of Mosab’s statements. It’s all part of the Jihadist movement; to struggle and contend with the world through any means necessary (justifying violence), creating a global caliphate = one holy man who rules and speaks for Allah.

Are we the swallow? Is the Jihadist cat getting closer as it creeps to the top rungs of our most cherished institutions? Let’s pray we have not reached the tipping point. To be continued…
