People wait with bated breath, the possibility that Iran’s nuclear power, and maybe even the regime, might fall next week.

After 46 years of spreading terror, it may all come to an end very soon.

But why? Why is Iran’s leader ready to reject a deal, even at the cost of possibly being obliterated?

Chapters 38 and 39 in Ezekiel talk about Gog, a leader who will gather nations to go against Israel.

It will happen at the end of days, close to the time of the Redemption with Moshiach.

And, (just like with Pharaoh of old, in the time of the Exodus from Egypt, G-d hardened his heart to want to chase after the Jewish people), Gog will go up against Israel. And just like Pharaoh, Gog too will be defeated.

Perhaps the leader of Iran is Gog. Perhaps the Redemption is close.

May it happen very soon.
