Iran: forget the negotiations, Khamenei just wants to annihilate Israel

If you invite someone you want to befriend over for dinner and, as soon as he enters your house, he kicks your cat, spits on the floor and punches your son in the face, you suddenly realize that you have made a mistake.

On the contrary, when Ayatollah Khamenei, following a letter that the US President Obama sent him as a sign of understanding and alliance, tweeted urbi et orbi his genocidal project to annihilate Israel, no reactions have been heard from the hesitant ambassadors of the P5+1 countries, which stayed in Oman in the last few days for a new round of talks on Iran’s nuclear energy program.

Even Obama did not say a word about it. But how is it possible to talk with someone who cares to explain in a 9-point list why the “Zionist regime” must be destroyed? Khamenei explains it thoroughly: “Why should the Zionist regime be eliminated? During its 66 years of life so far, the fake Zionist regime has tried to realize its goals by means of infanticide, homicide, violence and iron fist… the only means of bringing Israeli crimes to an end is the elimination of this regime”.

Then Khamenei, who affects to prefer the Jews walking away with not too much bloodshed, suggests to organize a referendum for all the Arabs and Christians (who, for the occasion, became his friends… but no Jews, please) and make them vote for the total elimination of Israel. He says he is certain that the international public opinion will gladly accept his plan, but reassures the terrorists: until that day, they are invited to keep on in their armed struggle. Khamenei tells his ferocious and obscene truth, while instructing his delegates to buy time on the nuclear issue. After all, Iran has always acted this way.

Time has always been a crucial weapon in Iran’s nuclear program, and we did not learn the lesson… now that the talks with Iran in Oman did not go well and their conclusion is not expected for November, 24 as it was planned, the diplomatic chit-chat will definitely be dragging on and on. After John Kerry, Catherine Ashton and the Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Javad Sharif (he is such a gentleman!) had left, the UK, China, France, Germany, Russia, the EU, the US and Zarif’s men remained there and kept minutely discussing paltry and desperate technicalities about uranium enrichment, proliferation, the typology of centrifuges, plutonium reactors, inspections by IAEA and other international organizations. How many people!

But are we realizing who we are talking with? In a nutshell, have we a rational interlocutor on the imminent danger posed by one or one hundred atomic bombs, or are we keeping to go round and round Obama’s futile “legacy”, now that Iran is one of the last few bullets in his barrel? So, here is Obama taking pen and paper, he is anxious to reach an agreement because the Senate will soon be in the Republicans’ hands and could raise the sanctions if Iran does not comply.

Thus, he writes down his message: “Dear Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei…”. Then, he would like to add: “You are the only one who can decide, because Rouhani smiles but he actually does not count”. This is yet his fourth letter of conciliation: Obama is demanding it like a child asking for a piece of candy. During his keynote speech, he said: “We will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist”. Iran replied: “We can only hate America from the bottom of our heart”. At that point, anyone with a better team of advisors would have understood the outright antithesis, the practical and theological incompatibility with Iran on crucial issues as democracy, women, sexuality, human rights. And Iran, the country that came out from the khomeinist revolution is not only a State, but also the guiding light of the caliphate worldwide according to the Shia.

Iran has a clear vision, it wants to bring down the sanctions, to keep on enriching uranium while extending its hegemony to Syria. Iran already holds Lebanon, Iraq is its battlefield and Yemen is almost in its hands. Also, it is playing with the Gulf, while yesterday an Iranian delegation was in Moscow to sign some energy contracts. Moreover, it plays its hand in the game of the international terrorism through its funding, Hezbollah and the Revolutionary Guards.

In his last letter to Khamenei, Obama, unmindful of how Iran has always played with America (let us not forget the relaunch of its atomic strategy, which was kept concealed until 2002), is looking for three agreements. The first one is on the nuclear issue, the second one on the common war against ISIS, and the third is the shameful one that envisages a safety net for Assad once the other agreements will be respected.

There has been no reply from Khamenei, but what could ever be more conclusive, and repulsive, of that tweet?
