Iran’s closure of Hormuz gives US and Israel more time to bomb

It seems that Iran made a strategic mistake. By seizing the Strait of Hormuz, they likely caused the war to go on longer than the US and Israel originally planned.

Even if the US wanted to stop the war now, Iran is practically forcing them to keep fighting, in order to open the strait.

So why did Iran do it? Israel and the US are continuing to bomb, increasingly destroying and degrading Iran’s military capability.

And the more that Iran is bombed, the better the chances for Iranians to be able to overthrow the regime.

It’s almost as if Iran’s regime is saying: “Please, don’t stop bombing.”

Perhaps the approaching holiday of Passover can help explain it.

The Torah tells us that, after the sixth plague, G-d hardened Pharaoh’s heart. And later, when the Jews had left Egypt, and Pharaoh was considering whether to chase after them, G-d hardened Pharaoh’s heart,  resulting in the Egyptians drowning in the sea.

Now too, as we see Israel’s enemies being miraculously defeated, perhaps the regime’s leaders became confused, and by Divine providence closed the Strait of Hormuz, which might soon result in their total defeat.

Today, the 11th day of the Jewish month Nisan, is the 124th birthday of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. The Rebbe constantly encouraged Israel that the Almighty “always watches over it.” (Deuteronomy 11; 12)

And the Rebbe constantly encouraged the Jewish people, that the final and complete Redemption with Moshiach is imminent.

With all the miracles happening now, we look forward to the most amazing miracle of Redemption, when evil will be removed from the face of the earth, enabling the entire world to be peaceful forever.
