Israel and the world
Israel is fighting an existential battle.
At first Biden strongly supported Israel. Later, in an apparent effort to win Muslim and left-wing votes for the upcoming election, he started to criticize Israel, and he slowed down weapon deliveries. Then came a devastating debate performance, and Biden dramatically lost his candidacy.
Now Iran is threatening to attack Israel. The U.S. and its allies realize that the security of oil-rich Arab countries, the entire Middle East, and indeed the world is potentially under threat. So the U.S. is sending forces to the region, and is gathering together an alliance of countries to defend Israel.
In the UK, Starmer won the election a month ago. But he noticed that the party lost many Muslim votes. So (presumably in an effort to regain these votes for the future) his government announced a number of anti-Israel initiatives. He renewed funding to UNRWA, withdrew the UK’s bid to defend Israel in the ICC, and proposed an embargo on weapons to Israel.
So what happened? Riots. Now UK security is being undermined, as far-right groups protest against immigrants and Muslims.
Recently Starmer delayed the embargo decision. Hopefully he will push it off completely.
France’s Macron criticized Israel, insisting that Israel needed to agree to a ceasefire immediately. Suddenly France experienced a political upheaval, and Macron lost a lot of power.
Bangladesh never recognized Israel. Now riots have forced the country’s prime minister to flee.
A common denominator with Biden, Starmer, Macron and the leader of Bangladesh, is that they went against Israel, and subsequently they were hit with misfortune.
They forgot what G-d told Abraham, that He will bless those who bless him, and curse those who curse him. (Genesis 12; 3)
G-d, Creator of the world, bequeathed the land of Israel to Abraham Isaac and Jacob, and to Jacob’s descendants the children of Israel.
After the Jews left Egypt, they received G-d’s Torah at Mount Sinai, and when they approached the land of Israel, Moses gave them the land.
So (1) Israel belongs to the Jews. And (2) it pays to bless the Jewish people.
Very soon, the world will see how G-d miraculously protects His people. The entire world will acknowledge His rulership, and all will appreciate how the Jews are a light to the nations, as Israel eliminates evil, thus enabling everlasting peace to permeate our world, as G-d redeems us once again, and forever, with Moshiach.
May it happen very soon.
