Israel, Iran and Ideology at Play

There has been so much to write about between the continued issues of Radical Islam, the relationship between Israel and the U.S. especially as it relates to Iran and the continued behavior of incitement by the PLO/PA and Fatah.

I will try to tackle the relationship between the U.S., Israel and Iran as well as the growth of Radical/Militant Islam (I now like to call it Medieval Islam) in all its variations – from Hamas to ISIS, Hezbollah to Iran – these variations of Islam have, as an ideology, a fundamental intolerance of anything that contradicts their Islamic practice – with a focus initially on eradicating Muslims who are different and ultimately the subjugation or murder of all non-Muslims. Yes, it’s a branch of Islam and as long as the U.S. and Europe avoids this identification (a rare exception was the recent speech by the French Foreign Minister ) they have no way to truly combat these evil forces. Obama took moral equivalency one step further by suggesting Westerners should not sit in judgement given our history during the Crusades! Obama is a repeat offender when it comes to hiding the Islamic nature of these groups – you will understand this clearly when you read about Obama’s ideology in the VERY IMPORTANT links below. They summarize it all and I strongly recommend reading them so you have a background as to why this is happening.

On the subject of Islam, you may want to look at this article which summarizes the authenticity of this form of Islam. Graeme Wood does an amazing job articulating the Islamic roots of ISIS but the same thing applies to Hamas, Hezbollah and any other radical Islamic group. . I also suggest you read “The Strong Horse” by Lee Smith for more insight into this issue.

Reducing Obama’s issues to hating Bibi completely misses the point. Also, this is NOT about antisemitism.  Instead, Obama believes in a deliberate approach that ignores the realities of the Middle East and Israel’s role in favor of a radical, dangerous and different ideology. Why Obama and Bibi Hate Each Other.

The other must read article by Michael Doran who has created such a stir as it further delves into Obama’s ideology especially relating to Iran. First, here is a quick intro from one of my friends:  Pres. Obama, in an interview with Jeffrey Goldberg published in March, 2014, stated: “What I’ll say is that if you look at Iranian behavior, they are strategic, and they’re not impulsive. They have a worldview, and they see their interests, and they respond to costs and benefits….They are a large, powerful country that sees itself as an important player on the world stage, and I do not think has a suicide wish, and can respond to incentives.”  Yet, Iran is the country that is the instigator of much, if not most, of the terrorism that afflicts the world today, including through its satraps such as Hezbollah, it is the country that is ruled by a Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, who are devoted to Twelver Shiism of which Prof. Bernard Lewis opined that mutual assured destruction would be “not a deterrent, but an inducement”.  It is this belief in the importance of inducing an apocalypse leading to revealing the 12th imam, in “occulation” since the 9th century, that led Netanyahu to describe Iran to Jeffrey Goldberg as “a messianic apocalyptic cult.”  Yet, it is this theocratic regime with a self-imposed revolutionary mission to spread its brand of Islam throughout the world (Ayatollah Khomenei stated that “Either we shake one another’s hands in joy at the victory of Islam in the world, or all of us will turn to eternal life and martyrdom. In both cases, victory and success are ours”)  that Pres. Obama finds responsive “to cost and benefits” (although so far the only costs that have been imposed on Iran are at the initiative of Congress, not Pres. Obama).  The costs and benefits envisioned by the leaders of Iran are of a very different nature, and take place in a very different framework, from ours notwithstanding Pres. Obama’s remark.  Michael Doran’s analysis reviews in detail the policies, in secret and in the open, that have enabled Iran’s ascendancy during the past six years. Here is the Must Read article: Obama’s Secret Iran Strategy.

On the final subject of incitement, there is so much to discuss, most will wait for a later blog. As some of you know, I assisted the Arnold and Porter trial team that was just awarded in NY Federal Court over $200 million for terrorism-related damages caused to U.S. Citizens and their families during the second intifada. The bottom line is that the jury agreed that the PLO and PA provided employees, material support and encouragement to those who participated in these suicide murder operations during the 2nd intifada. The evidence and testimony is riveting and all in the public record of the case. It opens a clear window into Palestinian incitement to murder civilians. What is most horrifying is that this same incitement and radical behavior continues today even as Israel is being pressured to do a “deal” with Abbas and his cronies. I suggest you look at the website of Palestinian Media Watch and pass this to others who you know and still maintain that these groups are “moderate”. The incitement to Jew-hatred is just unparalleled. Their main website is Palestinian Media Watch.
