Israel is likely being tested
It’s good that Hezbollah’s attack was foiled but it seems like a test run – possibly for Iran’s attack. They are likely testing Israeli defenses and the reaction of the allies, and so on. Also, I find it interesting that Hezbollah attacked around Ukraine’s Independence Day. Same with October 7. Russian fingerprints? Possibly. Russia can help its so-called allies and proxies around the world, as attacking Ukraine more and more is predictable and therefore expected, to sow chaos. Indeed, that’s what it’s doing.
I’ve been thinking about what Iran could do if – indeed – it decided to attack Israel full-force. Here’s, just in my opinion, what Iran could be preparing if the regime decides to go all in:
- Targeted assassinations of VIPs across Israel, critical infrastructure damage, cyberattacks. All at the same time. Population in chaos. A perfect target for terrorist attacks and abductions to follow.
- Unleash a hell of a barrage of missiles, drones, whatever they have – some to overload and mislead the Iron Dome while all the real targets get hit.
- Activation of terror cells around the world targeting Israeli interests and citizens. More chaos.
This kind of attack could, indeed, threaten Israel’s existence, if the situation is as serious as PM says that Israel’s existence is at stake. Israel would respond in kind, of course, likely causing the regime to collapse… but this would land the world in uncharted waters (to put it mildly). We’ll see where this whole mess goes.
