Israel is on its own

The world is slowly turning against Israel since the beginning of the Gaza war. Israel went from wide support in its defense against Hamas to being accused of war crimes. The October 7th massacre was the worst massacre of Jews in modern history since the Holocaust. Leaders of the free world flocked to Israel to express their condolences to the victims of terror. Yet, even before Israel invaded Gaza, many pro-Palestinian protesters took to the streets in support of Hamas and terrorism.

Cornell University professor Russell Rickford said in response to the October 7th massacre, “it was exhilarating.” Exhilarating to the murder of 1,200 innocent Israelis whose only crime was that they were Jews. Anthony Blinken, Secretary of State, tweeted telling Israel not to invade Gaza. President Biden even told Israel not to act like the US government did after September 11th.

Egypt’s refusal to take in Gazans only exasperated the situation because instead of evacuating civilians out of a war zone like most wars, Israel had to create humanitarian areas within Gaza and then go after the terrorists. The United States is the most powerful country in the world and yet they have not used their power to pressure Egypt to receive refugees, which could have ended the war months ago.

President Biden’s freezing of arms to Israel in order to get the radical left of the Democratic Party to vote for him in November has only emboldened Israel’s enemies. Hassan Nasrallah, the head of Hezbollah, has cited the college protests, Biden’s freezing of weapons, and the indictments of the ICJ by prosecutor Karim Khan as significant victories by the Islamic resistance.

Biden has hurt Israel with the freezing of weapons and calling for an immediate ceasefire. Biden has effectively become the most anti-Israel president since Obama. All this while Iran continues to tie a noose around Israel’s neck. Qatar, a major supporter of Hamas, has infiltrated universities and provided pro-terrorist propaganda to college students with funding. Qatar’s funding has been radicalizing college students to the point that they see Hamas terror attacks where innocent civilians were murdered and raped as a legitimate form of resistance.

Israel is on its own and has become a pariah among the nations of the world. All our allies are slowly turning against us, including our once great ally the United States. Propaganda from Hamas, Qatar, and Iran have done tremendous damage to Israel’s reputation while making westerners support terrorism. Spain, Norway, and Ireland have declared the recognition of Palestine as a state.

Commit terrorism and receive a state is the message these countries send to all terrorist organizations around the world. It’s only a matter of time until the US turns completely against Israel and Israel loses all legitimacy on the world stage. Even American Jews who for years have supported Israel are turning against Israel thanks to terrorist propaganda.

Jews like Ariel Gold, organizations like IfNotNow and Jews for a ceasefire have been putting significant pressure on their politicians for an end to the war and force Israel to lose the war. Israel is on its own and will have to fight this existential war on its own, even if the entire world may put sanctions on the country like they did to Russia.
