Israel should conclude the war with Iran without reference to anyone
Israel must carefully scan the evolution of political discourse across the world since the October 7th massacre. Special emphasis should be focussed on Western democracies with keen bias on the United States of America. In trying to pass across antisemitic narrative and influence policy, Pro-Hamas Islamists are literally setting ablaze France, Britain, Germany, Australia and America. Israel needs a more superior rhetorical counter offensive.
President Joe Biden has demonstrated by word and deed that America’s greatest ally in the Middle East can be easily sacrificed on the altar of political expediency. In other words, political correctness and betrayal of Israel has been shown to be a better option when weighed against probable election of the radical leftist Kamala Harris. President Biden’s Middle East policy has been continuation of Obama’s strange diplomacy of appeasement of Iran, the epicenter of Islamic terrorism and regional instability. The Biden-Harris administration has never faulted in sending billions of dollars to please the Tehran jihadist mullahs.
In show of jihadist gratitude, the Mullahs never disappoint. Every Friday they say prayers for the conquest of America, which they refer to as the big Satan and the extinction of Israel, aka, the small Satan. Therefore, in the mosques across Middle East, Europe and America, the prayer chorus is “death to America, death to Israel”.
Joe Biden has improved a little bit on Obama’s Middle East record. Since the massacre of Israelis last year, his administration has relentlessly tried to draw moral equivalence between Israel and Hamas terrorists. The US has continued to pile undue pressure on Israel, demanding that the Jewish state yields to some cavalier concessions which compromises the security of Israel but mollifies the pro Hamas voters in America. Israel has been fighting the war with its hands tied at the back by the US threats, public admonitions and withholding of weapons. This policy of induced inertia has prevented Israel from winning the war against terrorists, thus, unnecessarily prolonging the battle. An ally who takes a neutral position when you are facing existential war should be treated with utmost suspicion.
However, the most insidious obliteration of Israel by the Biden- Harris administration was the manner in which it hijacked and altered the DNA of the Abraham Accords. You see, the idea of Abraham Accords was a brain child of Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu. The accords were conceived on the thesis that there should be peace and diplomatic relations between Israel and other Middle East countries despite the conflict between Israel and Palestinian Arabs. The thinking is…peace between Israel and other Arab countries should not be predicated on the resolution of the question of Palestine. On the contrary, peace between the two would be inevitable if majority of Arab countries are in good relations with Israel. Most of the Arab countries seem fatigued being held at ransom by the utopian genocidal grievances of the Palestinian Arabs and have already signed the Abraham Accords.
Saudi Arabia, the regional powerhouse was about to append its signature on the Accords when Hamas terrorists invaded Israel and occasioned a macabre bloodbath. One of the reasons for the October 7th massacre was to prevent Saudi Arabia from signing the Accords. Hamas strategy was to provoke Israel’s reaction knowing very well that such a reaction would invoke sympathetic reaction and galvanize the Islamic world against Israel. Indeed, Hamas managed to delay, Saudi’s signature, but not without the help of Joe Biden. Aware of the towering significance of Saudi Arabia’s signature, Joe Biden converted it into a trump card which he has been using to prevent Israel from winning the war. He has done this by making it clear to Israel that Saudi Arabia will not sign the accords until Israel abandons the idea of defeating Hamas. In so doing, president Biden has badly vandalized the Accords DNA. He has reversed and inverted the original thesis to something that suits the global islamists and the radical left antisemites.
The Whitehouse coup against Joe Biden, a necessity in the exigencies of the looming November presidential election, coupled with the deletion of Ismail Haniya in Tehran has presented a different challenge. The reality of a direct war between Israel and Iran was almost here until America demonstrated the might of its military paraphernalia in the region. To prevent Tehran from avenging Haniyah’s liquidation, the US was categorical that it would stand with Israel. Yet, it is obvious that the military catwalk of American arsenal in the region is to give Israel a sense of fake security in order to prevent the IDF from concluding the war with Iran head on. In view of the November contest between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, democrats are in a frenzy to have president Biden preside over signing of something, just anything for political expediency, an optical display of some achievement in the Middle East.
To Israel….just like everyone else does, you know that the Iran nuclear project is meant for you. You also know that it is not a matchbox. The only time you should be heard mentioning the programme is when it is in the obituary pages of history.
Number two is very closely related to the above…why are you expending so much time, energy and resources shadow boxing with Iran’s proxies? Why don’t you deal with the principal and wrap this thing once and for all?
Don’t wait for global consensus in order for you to conduct self defence. War is not a democratic exercise. Sometimes war signifies failure of a certain model of democracy. Some other times, war is fought in order to defend and protect or install democracy. War is dirty.
