Israel, Trump’s Crusade and New Global Interests
Life is a mirror, and it only speaks positively to us when we look at it smiling with our hearts, passion, and the desire to always fight to the end. In Israel, this is not an option but an imperative necessity to move forward.
Against this backdrop, over the past three weeks, the Israel Defense Forces have eliminated the new Hamas leader in Gaza -and brother of the previous leader- when he had no hostages around. They helped Ahmad Sarhan (head of the Popular Resistance Committees; the third largest terrorist group in Gaza), and Hamas commanders in Khan Yunis and Rafah to carry out the “Shahada”, and eradicated from the face of the earth the terrorist who killed a Jewish woman who was on her way to a hospital to give birth. In the face of such misfortune, adaptation and sacrifice can only protect the people of Israel.
As a result of this fight to eradicate its enemies, Israel is also teaching the Houthis a lesson by destroying their port infrastructure amid a fictitious Houthi naval blockade on the port of Haifa, and its leader has sealed its death certificate. This “resilience” -a word I frankly hate to use, as it is the semantic reference point for the ‘woke’ ideology that corrodes the very core of places like Europe and the United States- is proof that despite this conflict having been provoked by Hamas on October 7th, 2023 -because the butchers of Gaza wanted to prevent Israel and Saudi Arabia from signing a peace agreement- the Jewish State remains standing.
While the world opposes to State of Israel’s right to self-defense, Joe Rogan defends Kanye West’s song “Heil Hitler,” in the Netherlands more than 100,000 people protested in support of Hamas, Spain complained about the Eurovision’s popular vote system (after its citizens gave all 12 possible votes to Israel), and a Danish individual has been arrested and accused of acquiring drones to carry out a terrorist attack on behalf of Hamas, the international media propaganda leaves only an abominable impression by ignoring the facts.
While President Trump is on a ‘crusade’ for the Nobel Peace Prize at all costs, trying to patch up conflicts that frankly require more comprehensive and permanent solutions because otherwise, they will continue in a vicious and repetitive cycle, JD Vance avoids coming to Israel because he thought a ceasefire would be signed, which ultimately did not happen. Thus, to demonstrate his opposition to the Gaza war and to isolate the ‘dinosaurs’ running the Israeli government, he refused to come. Curiously, this event also coincides with the announcement by Canada, France, and the United Kingdom that they intend to impose sanctions on Israel and unilaterally recognize a hypothetical Palestinian state, thus demonstrating that the Netanyahu government is being isolated by the West.
While Trump ridicules the disgraceful president of South Africa in the face of a genocide against white farmers in the “country of the three capitals,” he wrongly forces Israel to resume ‘humanitarian’ aid into Gaza, negotiates with Hamas behind Jerusalem’s back, plans to move over one million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Libya without coordinating with the Israeli defense apparatus appropriately, pressures Lebanon to sign a peace agreement with Israel and disarm Hezbollah and the Palestinian terrorist groups operating south of Beirut in exchange for its financial aid, and warns us that Syria is weeks away from a full-blown civil war, which would yield a fractured state like the “pre-french mandate” entity after World War I. In other words, Armageddon is a far cry from the diverse cocktail of regional news that Trump and his henchmen bring to the table.
While the dissimilar “Trump effect” is overriding the normal standards of post-World War II international politics, and turning a deaf ear to the intelligence reports of its security agencies is his prerogative, France and Saudi Arabia -the absolute leaders of the new BRICS/European Union alliance- are organizing two new “peace conferences” aimed at promoting the creation of a Palestinian state without Israeli participation.
Conspicuously, Trump announced that the “Golden Dome,” inspired by Israel’s “Iron Dome” (with the sinister Canadian prime minister’s deceitful desire to join the project now simply to try to gain recognition at the mercy of others; just as the Canadians already do by taking advantage of US military protection to avoid investing adequately in their own) will be ready in three years; meanwhile, Israel is working on a law to declare the “Gold Kings” of Doha as sponsors of terrorism; it is preparing to quickly attack Iran’s nuclear infrastructure if the Ayatollahs’ dictatorship fails to reach an agreement with Washington; and it recovered—thanks to the Mossad—more than 2,500 documents related to Eli Cohen in a special operation carried out on Syrian soil.
Doubtlessly, notwithstanding betrayals and evil, Israel knows how to face reality. Just as Trump privately informed Macron -before his wife slapped him- and other European leaders that Putin does not really want to end the war until he achieves all his military objectives, Israel is neither renouncing nor ignoring its real battles and that is why it is ordering its negotiators in Doha to return home, as negotiations with Hamas in Qatar are stalled and will reach no real solution (even if they say otherwise in public).
Undoubtedly, this objectivity about reality is what prevents the Israeli people from yet crying at the psychological suffering endured by Yarden Bibas as Yahya Sinwar’s lifeline during his painful stay in the Gaza tunnels, or the cold-blooded murder of two Israeli diplomats in Washington. Clearly, these circumstances cause Israel to accept what must be addressed with conviction, certainty, and focus, because everyone in Eretz Israel is aware that if one day guard goes down for 45 seconds, the third biggest economy in the Middle East will be nothing more than a pleasant memory of the past; in other words, another ‘temple’ destroyed.
While the world mendaciously denounces that Israel allegedly shot at a diplomats convoy visiting the Jenin terrorist nest to legitimize the mafia and criminal activity carried out by the Palestinians there, the international community ignores that more than 40,000 Kuwaitis will be rendered stateless and that a Turkish Jew was fired from his job at Turkish Airlines and will face trial for simply visiting the State of Israel and publishing images of his stay in Jerusalem. Meanwhile, the world also ignores that the leaders of the most influential clans in Judea and Samaria want to be part of the Abraham Accords and that the United Nations hoax that 14,000 babies in Gaza were supposed to die within 48 hours was just another fallacy.
But why do they do this? Because it infuriates them that a country of only ten million people like Israel has a gross domestic product of $500 billion while Iran -regardless of its monopoly on oil and natural gas sales to the Chinese (yes, because US sanctions do not penalize these transactions at all)- only has a gross domestic product of $400 billion despite having a population of over 90 million.
Without a doubt, the world and the “physiological” incongruity of the new international relations -which should be called “relations of interests”- seek to demonize Trump for trying to eradicate Harvard’s international visa program (where 31% of its students are foreigners from countries mostly hostile to the West and the United States) because this “may make the United States look like a racist country”, but they are saddened when a dictator like Erdogan announces that he “will not seek reelection” in the next presidential elections in 2028 (because the polls show that he could lose the election).
Concurrently, we live in such a bizarre historical moment that when a Houthi explosives depot in Yemen is blown up a day after they launched a ballistic missile at the sovereign State of Israel, the European press calls it “an act of international terrorism by Tel Aviv”.
Without a doubt, this latent Western hypocrisy and weakness, which fiercely criticizes Israel’s control of 75% of Gaza in order to weaken Hamas’s influence and thus force them to release the Israeli hostages, is the same weakness that plagues its capitals today, as the most radical and extremist Salafists invade them.
Therefore, as the UAE’s foreign minister aptly stated in 2017, “there will come a day when we will see more radicals and extremists coming out of Europe than from the Middle East.” That slap of reality eight years ago is the only bulwark Europe and the West have achieved since the near-eradication of the only productive and effective minority the West ever had: the Jews.
This desire to supplant the Jews in Europe and create “Western” multicultural societies in an attempt to erase that dark past, filled with horrific colonial histories that make the Congolese genocide by the Belgians seem like a mere anecdote, is the pretense they will have to endure due to a lack of decision-making and sensible policies.
Hence, I truly hope that October 7th never takes place in Dublin, Washington, Madrid, London, or Paris by those “protesters” who today supposedly defend the “freedom of Gaza” but who could never take to the streets to express themselves in Rafah, Khan Yunis or Ramallah because otherwise Hamas or the Palestinian Authority would separate their heads from their respective torsos.
Nevertheless, I hope that if that day ever comes, and given the fact that those Western capitals are “the best in the world,” “the most supportive,” and the most “inclusive,” they will not require the assistance of the “genocidal” State of Israel. Because if that twilight were to happen, we would be talking about fifty-three 9/11s in one day, and consequently, I believe that the criminal first three days of the 2001 NATO bombing campaign in Baghdad would be, I insist, just another anecdote that would pale in comparison to the offensive that the West would be carrying out against actual civilians.
Anyway, have a good week, my dear squalid Pharisees of reality.
