IsraelaPhobic Betty Boop McCollum at it Again…
I see that Betty McCollum (D-MN) is still suffering from IsraelaPhobia. She caught this Bug years ago when she began obsessively instigating anti-Israel legislation.
Rafael Medoff, founding director of the David S. Wyman Institute for Holocaust Studies posts, “In every congressional session since 2017, Rep. McCollum (D-Minnesota) has introduced legislation that would cut off US aid to Israel if the army arrests Palestinian Arab terrorists who are under the age of 18. Being Jewish was the “crime” that an Israeli man was committing this weekend when he and his family stopped at a store near the Palestinian Authority town of Al-Auja, outside Jericho. While his wife and children went inside to shop, the man stood outside, near their car.
That was sufficient reason for a Palestinian Arab terrorist to walk over and stab him. The terrorist was described as being about 16 years old. The army is searching for him but if McCollum had her way, it wouldn’t be allowed to. The most recent version of the McCollum bill had 31 co-sponsors, all Democrats. It has been endorsed by Jewish Voice for Peace, J Street, and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), among others.”

McCollum provided no evidence of Israel’s mistreatment of Palestinian children, nor did she reference any Palestinian abuse of the children, such as training them to become “martyrs.” Neither did she mention Palestinian terror attacks against innocent Israelis. “
And In May 2022, McCollum was co-sponsor of a bill recognizing the ‘Nakba’ – Arabic for ‘catastrophe,’ referring to the establishment of the Jewish state in 1948 – together with fellow anti-Israel lawmakers Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Marie Newman.
She has called Israel “apartheid”, and accepted a leadership award from the U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights. “This group is at the ‘very heart’ of the Boycott movement, claims to advocate for justice and human rights, but is a coalition of extremists promoting a campaign of hate which harms Israelis and Palestinians alike.” (StandWithUs).
So what are the facts she ignores? Exposed on Palwatch, Palestinian Media Watch, (https://palwatch.org/), official Palestinian media shows Palestinian children holding rifles larger even than themselves, dressed like soldiers, encouraged to become martyrs by killing Jews, taught by Imams and in schools and in the streets named after terrorists who killed Jews, that killing Jews is a holy act. From the age of 14, they prepare for suicide attacks. “An estimated 10,000 children were trained in Hamas’ terrorist camps each year; at least 160 have died digging terror tunnels into Israel. A group of NGOs formed, “The Coalition to Save Palestinian Child Soldiers, urging the public to sign an open letter to child welfare advocates condemning the use of Palestinian children as soldiers. For decades, Palestinian children ‘have fulfilled the role of combatants, human shields, rioters, laborers,and suicide bombers.” And this met with only silence from Betty Boop.
Congresswoman McCollum’s remarkable resume and selective amnesia also includes her silence about the Muslim-on-Muslim child abuse of Afghani children made into sex slaves by Taliban warlords, the abused offspring of Yazidi women raped by ISIS’ Caliphate in Iraq and Syria, Islamic Boko Haram’s forced child soldiers in Africa, among other Islamic groups in Africa. Her morally bankrupt silence on this testifies to her miserable lack of character: “Islamist groups in Africa—affiliated with Al-Qaeda and Islamic State have killed nearly 23,90 people over the past year, sustaining historically high levels of violent extremism on the continent.”
She is silent on the repeated very fair Israeli peace offers, all rejected by these “Palestinian” Arabs who never made a counteroffer, but instead walked out on negotiations because…it is not now and never was about land or borders. It was always about, as their decades old leader Abbas admitted, “we will never accept the evil Zionist (Jews) entity in our midst with any borders.”
They could have had a state of their own for decades but prefer jihad instead: ”former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert offered Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas a peace proposal in 2008, offering close to 100% of the West Bank with land swaps, Palestinian statehood and the division of Jerusalem with the Muslim parts becoming the capital of the new Palestine. Did Abbas accept? Not on your life.

Let us wish McCollum a speedy recovery from her IsraelaPhobia before she harms more ‘Palestinian’ children by falsely blaming Israel instead of protecting them from the real abusers—Arab adults, parents and leaders who use them as human weapons, teach them to kill themselves and Jews as an act of holy martyrdom, who hate Israel more than they love their children.
