Israel’s war against Iran is America’s war, too

This is not theoretical: Iran and its proxies have targeted American water and energy systems, hit global shipping and plotted attacks in New York

During this time of moral confusion, self-doubt, self-guilt, and false narratives, it is important to state simple truths. Iran is the number one sponsor of global terrorism and a destabilizing force in the Middle East and beyond. Israel is now fighting this evil regime directly, after years of covert and indirect confrontation. This is a battle of good versus evil, light versus darkness – and it will lead to a safer world.

For decades, Iran has operated like a mafia state: exporting terror, arming militias, and destabilizing countries from Lebanon to Yemen. General Qassem Soleimani once bragged that Iran had successfully established “six armies” across the region: Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, pro-Iranian militias in Syria and Iraq, and the Houthis in Yemen.

These are not defensive forces. They are tools of aggression created to destroy Israel, expel the United States, and eventually dominate the Middle East.

Israel has dismantled or degraded many of these proxies. But today, we are striking at the source. And Americans must understand: if Iran is not stopped in the Middle East, its war will reach the West.

Iran’s threat is not regional; it is global. The regime already possesses ballistic missiles capable of reaching Europe and is actively working on missiles that can hit the US homeland. This is not theoretical. It is official Iranian strategy. A regime that chants “Death to America” is building the weapons to act on it.

We are already seeing the signs. Iranian cyberattacks have targeted American water and energy systems. Its proxies have killed US soldiers and attacked global shipping. Hezbollah operatives have been caught plotting attacks in New York.

When Israel targets Iranian arms factories in Syria, missiles in Yemen, or military infrastructure in Tehran, we are not just protecting ourselves. We are defending the free world. The global order that underpins security, trade, and liberty cannot survive if Iran is allowed to terrorize the region and threaten the West with nuclear-tipped missiles.

The US and Israel are not just allies. We are frontline defenders of the same values. Your enemies are our enemies. And history has shown that the cost of inaction is always greater than the cost of resolve.

As Americans confront growing threats from China and Russia, they cannot afford to let Iran grow stronger. A nuclear Iran or an Iranian empire across the Middle East would be catastrophic, not only for Israel but for every free nation.

Israel has made its choice. We will do what is necessary, with or without international support. But we should not — and must not — stand alone.

This is a moment of truth, a historic opportunity to topple the ayatollahs and restore the great bonds between Iran and Western nations, including Israel. This is the time to change the Middle East and create a stronger, safer, more prosperous region.
