FIRST TIME Har HaBayit

We just started the final book of the Torah, and this Shabbat was full of hope, joy and light. I am on a natural high from possibility and potential. On Rosh Chodesh Av, I had the privilege of joining a group of holy women on the Temple Mount, https://templeinstitute.org/. There was also a group of 12 men, there is no separation, we are all holy souls, walking the perimeter of Jewish roots and history. My friend and I continued to the City of David, completing our journey from above to below, walking through the water walk—known as Hezekiah’s Tunnel (or the Siloam Tunnel)—which takes 40 minutes to walk through from end to end. The water started at our ankles and at one point went up to our thighs, it was refreshing and invigorating on a hot Jerusalem summer day.

The lessons of visualizing the Beit Hamikdash, are all about our perspective and how we choose to interact with the circumstances in our lives and how we understand every interaction. Rabbi Levin of Pico Chabad Bais Bezalel, says “you can not choose what questions you have, you can choose where you look.”

I enjoyed the end of Shabbat with Coach Daniel Ratner, https://coachratner.com/, who talked about thanking God for absolutely everything. Even an illness, or a big loss, whether financial or in a relationship; Everything is part of the divine plan. He has written numerous books about relationships, self esteem and dating. I love his use of acronyms, and this one blew my mind. If you take the word REPEAT, we have to remove the letter E twice, which stands for Ego and Envy. In order to connect to our creator and be a vessels for blessings. I put some of my own inspirations and insights into the description of each aspect.

(R) RECOGNIZE Everything is from our creator, including timing, life situations, and where we are meant to be. We have to do our part, choose our path, and take action, however where you are right now, is all in the hands of God. It is such a blessing to see how everything connects.

(EGO)

(P) PRAISE Every part of everything we see and do not see is created in every moment. The sun, moon and stars as well as every aspect of nature. Oceans, seasons, the food we eat, and even the energy that we do not see. The money in your pocket, and a glance from a fellow soul. When you see creation in everything, there is such peace and awe, and overflowing love.

(ENVY)

(A) ASK When we pray, we are asking our creator for what we need. The secret is to expect that you will be answered. I have always trusted that everything is at the right time and the right fit, and left myself unattached to the outcome. Now, I understand that we have to be clear and state exactly what we need, and know and feel the reality of your request. Of course, everything is in God’s hands, and will turn out exactly how it is meant to be, however, when you visualize and attract with a inner knowing, you will get exactly what you asked for in the way that you need.

(T) THANKS Gratitude. It is a word we hear all the time, and scientifically it literally rewires your brain. Your perspective will be your reality in every situation. No matter what is on our plate, we can choose how to relate to it and transform it in our heart, mind and soul. I like to put it this way. We come into this world with three parts:

  1. Genetics – We have no control of how our ancestors, grandparents and parents were put together. Yes, there is a way to eat nutritious meals, be active and happy, but how we deal with health on a daily basis, whether good or hanging by a thread, the truth is, it is our reaction and how we interpret the experience that makes a difference.

THERE ARE MANY EXAMPLES OF PEOPLE WITH HEALTH CHALLENGES, PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY, EMOTIONALLY AND SPIRITUALLY. THEY DO NOT STOP BEING AN EXAMPLE OF ONE DAY AT A TIME, GRATITUDE AND INSPIRING OTHERS AS WELL AS FINDING CURES!

  1. Upbringing –  This is your journey that you were meant to experience in this lifetime. You have the free will and choice of the path you take, but you will always end up where you were meant to be in every moment. When you recognize those moments, everything is a miracle.

THIS IS A BIG ONE. THE SOUL CAN BE BRIGHT AND THE GENETICS COULD BE ABSOLUTELY TOP OF THE LINE, INSIDE AND OUTSIDE. HOW WE ARE RAISED, AND WHAT WE EXPERIENCE AFFECTS HOW WE MOVE FORWARD. SOME GET STUCK, WHILE OTHERS GET HELP, KEEP SEARCHING AND FIND MEANING AND PURPOSE IN THEIR HEALING JOURNEY, AND THROUGH THEIR EXAMPLE SHOW OTHERS THE POSSIBILITY TO HEAL

  1. Soul – Each soul journey is unique, and no matter how it looks from the outside, everybody has pros and cons. Nothing is perfect and even the most horrific of circumstances give the soul a chance to reinvent, thrive and contribute.

SOMEBODY COULD HAVE NO ARMS AND LEGS, HAVE A HARD LIFE JOURNEY, BUT THEIR SOUL IS SO BRIGHT, THEY BECOME AN INSPIRATIONAL SPEAKER.

I always say that I must have done something really out of this world in my past life, to deserve and experience the life that I am living. In every moment I see the connections, the blessings and even the hard times, I just see God’s plan. All three blow my mind, my genetics, my upbringing and my soul has never been diminished, silenced or stopped. I feel on top of the world all the time, to be completely myself and shine my unique light. If people do not vibe with it, it’s all good, we are not meant to cross paths, and I easily let things go, and take nothing personally. It is not my business or my problem what others feel, think or do. Honesty, clarity and continuous growth is the goal. Living with purpose, meaning and unconditional love and light for myself, my family, friends and community.
