It’s Not Over Until Every Hostage Is Home

An Urgent Appeal to Leaders, Negotiators, and Decision-Makers

Every passing day brings with it an unbearable weight of uncertainty for the families of those still held hostage in Gaza. Their anguish is not theirs alone. It is shared by the people of Israel, by Jewish communities around the world, and by all who cherish human dignity and moral conscience.

The time for continued action is now. There must be one unwavering priority: bring every remaining hostage home—without delay and without excuses. Only then can each soul be granted the dignity of rest, and their families some measure of peace.

At its core, this is not a political question. It is a moral imperative—the most sacred responsibility of any nation that wishes to call itself just and humane. The safe return of every man, woman, and child still in captivity—even those whose fate has already been sealed—must supersede all political calculations or ambitions.

No government, no leader, no negotiator should find comfort in half-measures or temporary truces while even one hostage remains unaccounted for. Compassion and determination must continue to guide every decision, every conversation, every moment spent at the negotiating table.

We call upon those with the power to act—leaders in Israel, mediators in the region, and allies across the international community—to continue showing courage, creativity, and compassion. Use every diplomatic channel, every ounce of influence, every tool at your disposal to bring them home. Please, do not cease your efforts.

To the Chairman of the Board of Peace—and to all those entrusted with the sacred task of negotiation—this is your moral reckoning. History will not judge by the complexity of the talks, but by the outcome.

The families of the hostages cannot wait. The nation cannot wait. The world is watching . . .

Until that day arrives—for Israel, for the Jewish people everywhere, and for all who affirm the sanctity of human life—let it be known:

It is not over yet.

It’s not over until every hostage is home.
