Jerusalem Light Rail. Redesigned. [Photos]
Years ago, Jerusalem residents were given the option of voting for their choice of train design for the Jerusalem Light Rail. What we currently see traversing the center of town is supposedly the winning vote, the people’s choice; and, I’m happy to say, my personal favorite.
However, I still believe the sleek light rail train cars could use a visual boost. Inspired by World War II bombers and racing cars, I believe this captures the elegant, timeless spirit that I’m sure the light rail is trying to embody. I bet Egged bus drivers will find the images deeply resonate with their race-car driver souls.
