Maybe Jews Should Own Hollywood-The Industry Thrived!

It’s award season and do you really care? Can you name the last five winners for best picture? How many of this year’s most nominated films have you seen?

The antisemites think they are winning by targeting Jews in the industry and pushing them out for less qualified but definitely not Jewish profiles. Of course, there are exceptions, but the consensus is talent and experience have been pushed aside.

Barbra Streisand said it best at one of the recent previous award ceremonies that Hollywood was created by Jews escaping pogroms and assimilating into American society. David Selznick fought for Hattie McDaniel to win an Oscar and stories of others given opportunities by these Jewish bosses are endless-not just in front of the camera, but in every crew team. Edith Head, Ben Hecht, Max Steiner are all Jewish pioneers in the fields of fashion design, screenwriting and music composition during the best years of Hollywood. All are always mentioned as inspirational people for today’s generation and their work is often imitated but never fully fulfilling as their originals.

I am a movie buff and can’t name any award winning themes from the three award winning films, or their costume designers. I have to go back to the 1990s to the themes of Schindler’s List and Titanic.

Get the point? All of the antisemitism isn’t helping anyone in Hollywood.

The Real Headline

Those attending award shows and wearing anti Israel or antisemitic pins and accessories refuse to discuss what their platforms are doing- destroying an industry that once dominated the world and gave Americans jobs, escapes and pride.

Pushing Jews out of leadership and positions earned by merit is proving suicidal. No academy or union or critics awards can overcome a hard truth.

Hollywood is in a significant multi-year slump, with box office projections of the 2025 revenue falling roughly 23 percent since 2019. Tickets sales are down almost 40 percent and people are not interested in excessive payments for endless streaming platforms filled with mediocre entertainment.

Even as the push to get ticket buyers back into theaters, consumers aren’t buying the hype anymore of blockbusters and extra features like bolder technology and comfortable seats.

Facts

Jewish bosses and coworkers assimilated in Hollywood just like in areas and industries historically. So many people whose body of work you admire are Jewish and you probably didn’t realize it because they “Americanized” their names. You probably know about Kirk Douglas but did you know about the Wonsal Brothers then Warner Brothers or Michael Curtis, the Academy Award winning director of Casablanca and directed Joan Crawford in Mildred Pierce was born Mano Kaminer.

They went out of their way to give the best, regardless of background or interests, jobs and security because they deserved it!

The behind the scenes stories of Casablanca are even more fascinating than its famous last lines. Holocaust escapees and those who lost family members were involved both behind and in front of the camera. Leading actress, Ingred Bergman, although not Jewish, was from a background that included Jewish ancestry from her mother’s side.

Let’s Find The Jews

Content creators are so busy finding the few Jewish nominees that they forget that many have Jewish blood but religiously based on which rabbi you ask, they aren’t Jewish.

They also haven’t done the activism that pro Palestinians get attention for.

Blacks support Blacks, Asians support Asians, Hispanics support Hispanics and Jews support all of these people as well as the gay, disabled and elderly communities.

Are You Watching The Oscars?

I haven’t seen a nominee and truthfully don’t care! I would prefer watching every Best Actress nominee from their roles in their nominated roles from 1950. Judy Holliday won for Born Yesterday over Bette Davis from All About Eve and Gloria Swanson from Sunset Boulevard. Holliday “Americanized” her name from Judit Tuvim as in the Yiddish origin.

It ain’t so bad when Jews ran Hollywood and everyone benefited!
