Jewish Women Entrepreneurs Take Action After Oct 7

Since October 7th, nothing about our lives—or our Jewish identity—feels the same.

Whether in Israel or across the world, we see ourselves differently, and we see our people differently. And that shift has awakened a deep responsibility to act, to contribute, and to stand together.

When I founded the Global Network for Jewish Women Entrepreneurs and Leaders in 2020, I thought it would be a space for business support—a way to rebuild after Covid.

But life had bigger plans for us.

By 2023, even before the horrors of October 7th, I realized that this Global Network was more than just building business connections. It was a movement—one that not only helped women grow their companies, but also reconnected them to their Jewish identity and to Israel. That’s when we became a nonprofit, with a mission to empower Jewish women not just as entrepreneurs, but as proud, engaged Jewish leaders.

Then, October 7th happened.

Overnight, our community became a safe harbor. A place where Jewish women—heartbroken, furious, determined—could turn to one another for strength and support. And suddenly, I understood “why” we had been brought together years earlier. I didn’t know it then, but we were being prepared for this moment.

At first, the response of the women in our Community was personal: baking challah, volunteering, sending meals to soldiers. But soon, the entrepreneurial spirit in these women demanded more. “How can I use my skills? How can I do more?” they asked.

That’s when the idea for the theme of our Global Leadership Conference 2025 became clear – How Can You Be Part Of the Solution to Stand with Israel and Support the Jewish People, especially in times of crisis!

This Conference is taking place on Sunday May 4th, online, in order to allow Jewish Women from all over the world to join!

The goal of our Conference became clear – We had to inspire Jewish Women Entrepreneurs and Leaders to take action. So, we gathered extraordinary women—thought leaders, activists, and change makers — such as:
– Michal Cotler-Wunsh – Israel’s Special Envoy to Combat Antisemitism
– Lori Palatnik – Founder of Momentum
– Iris Haim – Mother of Yotam Haim z”l, a hostage who died a hero
– Jamie Geller, Pnina Agenyahu, Ella Ringel, Raquella Raiz, and many more.

But the real magic of this Conference will be in The Jewish Leadership Round Tables, where you’ll discover tangible ways to make an impact—big or small—and leave not just inspired, but ready to make a difference.

This is more than a conference. It’s a call to action.

Because even in darkness, we choose hope. And we prove, yet again, that the Jewish people don’t just survive—we rise.

Join us. Let’s rise together.
