Jews have a right to live.

In the last two days, I have read two different accounts of blatant anti semitism. Swastikas painted on Jewish bulidngs during Yom KIppur, the most holy day in Judaism.

This disgusts me. It makes me physically ill. To use the symbol of Nazi Germany, a regime which targeted Jews for extermination like this is an act that none of us need to overlook. The anti Israel crowd will downplay things like people marching against the war in Gaza chanting “Send the Jews to the gas chambers” or “Death to Jews” as people protesting against Israel. It is time we call it what it is: JEW HATRED that has nothing to do with Israel. If Israel never existed, people would still be painting swastikas and chanting. The people who do these things are anti semites of the highest order. They want Jews off the planet. They want to see Jews disappear. They already try to revise history.  There is really no other way to say it.

How do we fight against this hate? It is easy: we stand up for our right to exist. Jews have a right to live . Israel has a right to exist. And no amount of chanting or painting disgusting symbols will change that.
