Justice for One, Justice for All

If this were just a sports review, I would leave it to those who follow the WNBA to comment. However, this last match proved once again that social injustice can be found anywhere.
I’m not a WNBA viewer, but I’ll admit I am a fan of Caitlin Clark. She is an extraordinary player who elevated the WNBA and experience for women’s basketball. I often enjoy watching her highlights on SportsCenter or her social media clips. I don’t usually write about sports because I normally write about politics. I’m sick and tired of seeing other players physically abuse her and then get a slap on the wrist at most.
The worst part is the organization’s appalling lack of accountability. On Wednesday, Phoenix Mercury’s Alyssa Thomas deliberately attacked Caitlin Clark during the game. This was followed up by a foul by Valeriane Ayayi that ultimately benched Clark for the remainder of the game.
It was not until Indiana Fever’s Coach Stephanie White publicly called out the official rulings that the WNBA decided to review the plays. The reviews produced few consequences for actions that greatly altered Clark’s performance.
This kind of brutality has been ongoing since Clark began her WNBA career. Neither the coaches nor the organization is holding players accountable for their unsportsmanlike conduct.
Not only that, but the political left-wing women’s and racial activist groups are silent.
Still, I’m saddened by the thought that if the racial roles were reversed, the organization would be more forthright with its accountability. You’d never hear the end of the “social justice” groups’ rants until they feel justice is served.
I demand that there be more accountability for this continued violence in the WMBA. It often seems like half the country believes that racism towards white people doesn’t happen at all; it is because it’s not as prevalent as the horrors that our colored brothers and sisters face. Still, it does exist, and racism towards white people shouldn’t be tolerated just like it isn’t when it happens towards people of color.
If the lack of accountability continues, I call on the people to stand up for social justice, boycott the WNBA, and demand protection for this star player, who happens to be a white woman.
