Kafka Lives!

“In the summer of 2018, after her freshman season, she realized that she was a woman, not a man.” THE NEW YORKER (March 17, 2022)

Franz Kafka’s Gregor Samsa thought he was a cockroach.
Lia Thomas formerly known as Will Thomas is a trans swimmer on the University of Pennsylvania (the same school where, in 2018, it created the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement, whose General Manager was the now Secretary of State,Tony Blinken and which paid Biden $900,000 over two years) swim team who, despite looking like  Tarzan decided that he was a woman, left the UPenn mens’ team and joined the women’s team.
Lia has broad shoulders, a narrow hips, long arms, no breasts and if the photographs are accurate, is still packing male genitalia.
Here’s the unfunny part.
Men who have gone through adolescence as males are anatomically superior to women in sports. They run faster, have more cardiac and lung capacity, denser bones, greater muscle mass, are taller and stronger. In other words, the women don’t have a chance again Lia Thomas, a man who has trained as a competitive swimmer since he was a child.
Finally, some students and their parents are speaking up.
Swimmer, Reka Gyorgy of Virgina Tech laid it out
Gyorgy  “leveled the criticism in a post to her private Instagram account after missing the cut on Thursday to compete in the finals of the 500 free at the NCAA Championships, Fox News reported. ‘It doesn’t promote our sport in a good way and I think it is disrespectful against the biologically female swimmers who are competing in the NCAA,’ Gyorgy said of the rule that has received considerable scrutiny since Thomas has smashed records in her first season competing at the collegiate level as a transgender woman. Gyorgy also placed blame on Thomas for her failure to qualify. The Virginia Tech swimmer said she felt the last spot to get into the final was taken from her “because of the NCAA’s decision to let someone who is not a biological female compete.” NEW YORK POST (March 20, 2021)
Hello? Hello? Anybody?
Lia Thomas may very well be a talented swimmer but working out his sexual identity issues at the expense of women athletes is an injustice.
Just for the record, Will was a good-looking, lanky young man.
As a woman, he is still a good-looking lanky young man.
